1.
I think it's great stuff ..most refreshing stuff I've heard in a long time .
Exactly my thoughts mate
 2. The "supergroup" Gizmodrome featuring Mark King,Stewart Copeland and Adrian Belew released their debut album yesterday. Anyone checked it out? I think it's superb. Some tasty playing from MK and great drumming as ever from SC. He even provides the lead vocals in a Frank Zappa kinda way I know there's not a whole lot of love for Mark King on here but as a huge L42 fan I think it's great to see and hear him in a completely different guise ... go check it out on Spotify you may like it. Craig
 3.
Watched a bit of it - I guess its another thing that I don't get.
Fair Play to the guy he's headlining the closing night of Glastonbury but me too I'm afraid. I lasted 2 songs and got bored. I also thought his guitar sounded naff. nah not for me
 4.
You know, I love Chic. But although the band is indeed mostly killing it I really wish someone would cut Jerry's thumb off. He embodies a type of player that many bass players seem to want to be but which doesn't interest me at all. Horrible glassy bass sound and, for me, overplaying in the context of what I love about the original band. Sorry!
Didn't care much for his tone but his playing was funky as!!
 5. Oh no the bass player is slapping a solo!!!! Where's the MK haters?
 6.
I wonder how Mark is doing on the tour with UB40 and Al Anderson & The Original Wailers? Any of you guys seen this show? Blue
Yes I saw the carlisle show they did. I may be a tad biased but they're head and shoulders above UB40. L42 played around 1hr 15mins and stuck to playing the hits but a tighter live band you'll struggle to find.
 7.
Derek & the Dominos, Layla & Other Assorted Lovesongs - Layla has got to be one of the worst "classics" of them all!
I love this album
 8. Robin Trower. Really getting into him lately. Great new album and tons of back catalogue to get into. Superb stuff
 9.
We have The Picturedrome here In Holmfirth, saw King King last Thurs, absolutely great, they're cd's don't do them justice, Highly recommended for blues/rock.
Yep I saw them couple nights earlier in my hometown Carlisle. Fantastic live band

Surely it's not mixed up with that is it? It's all over Twitter. People paying respects including famous musicians. But still can't find any official word???
