1. Read an article that these late 90's Fender P Deluxes are a little special, anyone got one as they seem a bit rare. They have a humbucker on as opposed to the Jazz config.
2. They are indeed.....
Wow! first MM I've ever really liked...Very nice! Is it just me and my dodgey eyes, or are the pole pieces gold too?
3. For that money Id look at Sadowsky P basses, I think Sadowsky are the best builder these days. Might have to add a couple of hundred though. Saw one played in Glasgow against an American Fender deluxe and the Sad blew it away for tonal range.
4. Always loved the black and gold finish, takes me back to watching Henry Thomas on Rockschool back in the day with his Yamaha BB5000 in black and gold. Oh well thats the gass gone for a while..... unless theres a US Deluxe P out there...;-)
5. Hi Jon, I have been after one of these for so long and its a rare life keeper, now a Fender Deluxe P and my life will be complete although I may have save up for quite a while now! ;-) Steev.
Good Man! It's great to score something you've been after for a while isn't it? Cheers, Jon
6. OMG I am over the moon, I have been looking for a bass to replace a recent sale (one out one in) and I was happily trawling through the Bass shop websites and thought I'd have a look at what Stingrays they had when I saw this headline - 2006 Ltd Edt Musicman Stingray in Black with gold trimmings, I have been after one of these babes since they were released but they have been out of my price range and as rare as hens teeth. Quickly checked the bank account and sweated buckets as the browser took ages to go through the buying process and just got the e-mail confirmation thats shes mine! Only thing left is to try and convince her in doors it didn't cost too much, but being all black and gold I think she won't buy it! looks liek it may cost me additional shoes and a night out for her! ;-(
7. PM On its way...
8. I have an Aria SB1000 ending today on E-Bay, if it goes for its reserve I may just snap your hand off for this.
9. Has this gone yet?
10. I have recently been offered a bass worth around £200 in a trade for one of my Aria SB1000's. I had assumed the guy would also being giving me at least £500 on top of the trade bass, but no he expected a straight swap! this reminded me of another trade off I recieved a couple of years ago for my American Fender Jazz, the guy in question thought his Mexican with wait for it added Badass bridge was also a fair swap! Can anyone out there better these Super Trades!? Steve.
11. Hi, I am after an American P, are you open for a possible trade?
12. What a beauty, have a bump on me for a thing of lovelyness... Don't suppose you fancya trade?
13. Ok, I lied. looking for between £700 and £750. Or trade for American Fender P Deluxe.
14. As a previous owner I can vouch for this beauty, has a wonderful neck and was very unhappy to sell her.
15. Final bump then back in storage or on the bay if I can be arsed...
16. Ok here we go: Poison Arrow - ABC, I'll Tumble 4 Ya - Culture Club, Club Country - The Associates, Glittering Prize - Simple Minds, I Wanna be Adored - Stone Roses, Paint Me Down - Spandau Ballet, My Own Way - Duran Duran If like me you are now the wrong side of 40 you should remember most of these.... ;-)

18. PM's replied to... close but no cigar type bump...
19. I understand that there is one of these on E-Bay for £1500 perhaps I am underselling it! ;-) I might consider a trade or part trade if anyone has a decent American P or Stingray.
20. Now I know who it is that buys Viz Magazine!
