1. Hi Folks, I have just noticed that the cost of an Aria SB1000ri has dropped from £1600 to £895 looks like sense has finally prevalied! They are lovely basses anyone tried one of the reissue models? Cheers, Steve.
2. Tough one this, I have been in many bands over the last 20 years and the only stress free one was the first one as it was basically made up of school friends so the friendship was their before we played a note. Its always hard to join an existing band, particularly if they are strong friends, if I were you I'd start my own band from scratch - advertise yourself and make sure your the boss from day one! I used to play with a couple of the ex ABC guys (showing my age) and the stories they told of what went on in that band would fair make your hair curl! Stick with it, be patient and you'll be fine!
3. Sold Pending payment, you have a stunning new Bass Phil!
4. Have a bump, Aria made some beautiful basses in the 80's!
5. Would love this, clearly well looked after but that price is too close to a new one for me. You have a lovely bass sir!
6. Good point!
It says sold now and I still read it through !!!
7. I have apologised, I had totally forgotten this ad was even still here. Isn't it amazing how many people are ready to put the boot in! Get a life boys, I apologised for not marking it as sold I guess you are perfect eh? Jez this forum is going downhill, the guy asked me a question about the bass, I apologised and informed him it sold a while ago, not sure why everyone feels its down to them to make sarky comments?
Well why don't you say so in the title of your thread and save us all the time of reading it?
8. Forgot to mention, comes with original Sandberg soft carry case.
9. Folks, I have my eye on a new Bass - one of my babes has to go to make room; not to mention add extra funds! Its a beautiful natural finished bass with black scratchplate and no real marks or blemishes. I have added the only pic I have, but will take some more later today. Ok, I am looking for £675 plus postage, sorry but no trades (unless you want to let me have your Wal in exchange!? ;-) Ship to UK and Ireland only.
10. I bet this sounds beautiful, very tempted as am on a fretless vibe at the moment. Have a free bump on me mate!
11. Cheers mate, I am really amazed that no one seems to want to pay just £500 for a near new US Jazz!?
Free bump for an incredible deal.
12. Heres my baby! Having played most high enders I have to say the Sandbergs are possibly the best all rounders. I got rid of a Stingray and a Fender Jazz as my JM was easily as good as both and the range of tones are brilliant. I really recommend them highly!
13. £550 for a 14month old American Standard - gotta be worth a punt to someone?
14. Nope, sorry.
Any chance at all I could tempt you with a Schecter Stiletto Studio 6 + cash?
