I use to have a lot of 4th and B'way records to hand, my best friend was a DJ in the 80's and has all this stuff at home, rang him but no credits on the singal or album, Just checking the producers out for any links to musos, could be a toughie to find the bassist, good call, classic tune.

Was at rehearsals earlier and was outside having a smoke with my drummer as a band were loading their gear in. On top of a guitar cab was a big flight case, I said to one of the guys that it looked heavy, was it an Ampeg? to which he proudly replied, "it's a Matamp, do you wanna have a look", so I did. Inside was a GT 200 with a chrome front, er, sexy is the only word to describe it. He told me the name of his band and that they were endorsed by Matamp but I've forgotten the name as I was perving on his amp, what a beautiful sight. Does anyone know who in Liverpool has a Matamp endorsement and is in a doom, black metal band?

I saw them on the Reunion tour in 1991 and at the Summer Pops in Liverpool in 2003. In 1991, I was so stoned, they could have played wahboards and I still would have creamed my pants but at the Liverpool gig, they were totally beyond good, Anderson, Squire, Howe, Wakeman and White. We had VIP tickets and were right at the front, centre stage, Wakeman was giving my missus the eye all night, the twat. I cried when they played Awaken. :blush: It was the last time I went to a gig with my best friend before he died, Awaken was played at the funeral.
