  1. Welcome back BH! Will there be reportage on the safe return of the bass?
  2. ⏫ Y'see! Pretty, practical, well-designed and good value!
  3. I have a Yammy BB434 (the 4 string version). Great quality, great looks, great range of sounds Love it! You can't go far wrong with Yamaha.
  4. One of these should do it: https://www.amazon.co.uk/kenable-6-35mm-Socket-Splitter-Adapter/dp/B003OSTW9U/ref=sr_1_20?keywords=jack+y+splitter+mono&qid=1575562523&sr=8-20
  5. I think that would link the cabs in series, not parallel. The 'Y' splitter would create a parallel circuit.
  6. Not an expert, but I'd imagine a splitter from the amp's speaker out to the speakers would work, and make the load 4 Ohms, giving you full power to the speakers. Not familiar with the amp - if it's Class D it should be fine using headphones and no speaker load. I'm sure that someone will be along soon who will know for sure.
  7. Burning Love - Elvis Not difficult, but fun!
  8. Will sign the petition when I get into the office. 👍
  9. Enjoy your birthday bass!
  10. People can be pretty ignorant at times I have the opposite problem at open mic night - no-one wants to get up and sing / play 'til they're tanked. Even then, no-one has got up to play the bass (my playing is obviously sooo awesome that they're intimidated...or something ). Overheard last night at open mic night during a break: 60ish woman to her friend... "What time does the karaoke start back up?"
  11. Calling @WHUFC BASS... https://www.theguardian.com/music/2019/nov/29/run-for-the-balls-west-ham-team-up-with-iron-maiden-for-new-kit
  12. There's a built-in compressor on my Eden WTDI pedal, which I use sparingly at open mic night. For 'proper' gigs, I use one of these: Ingersoll-Rand IR175. Sorry! I meant one of these: Palmer Bass Deepressor. Really good & solid as a rock!
