1. Hello Good folks, Didn't think I'd be moving this one on quite so quickly, however I have seen something for sale locally that I am Gassing for. If it goes before this sells then I will withdraw it. Cort GB94, swamp ash body with a figured maple top, maple neck ( nice pattern in the maple neck) with a rosewood board block inlays, Seymour Duncan basslines pickups, Duncan designed active 3 band pre amp, slap switch, neutrik locking output jack, hipshot tuners. Sound is a modern active jazz sound or a musicman sound with plenty of scope inbetween thanks to the 3 band active eq, needless to say the active Seymour Duncan basslines pickups sound fantastic. There are 2 small marks on the back of the neck, you can only see them when looking for them and you cant feel them while playing at all, I couldn't get them to show up on camera. Price online seems to be around £650 new, I will sell at what I paid for it £300, I think you'll agree its a lot of bass for the money. I'd prefer local pickup from me on this one it can be collected from me in Carshalton Surrey or I can deliver to central London or send it off to you for £20. *Edit to say it comes with that gig bag if you want it. 5. Excellent bass at a great price. Someone please buy it before I cave and spend money I shouldn't http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/YAMAHA-BBG4S-Bass-Gu...=item1c1b96fb69
6.
Hi All, no BFR Roasted Stingrays here yet? Ok, then I think I should post a few pictures of mine..... hope you like it, M.
That is amazing! What a stunner!
7. At that price its a bargain, was going to buy this myself until a Cort came along that I couldn't resist. Well done whoever gets it at this price.
8. Cort GB94 jazz bass made in Korea. Basslines pickups, active circuitry, hipshot tuners. Been gassing for a stingray and a jazz and this bass seemed to tick both boxes. Quality components but without the boutique price tag.
9. Speaking of Tokai's I've nearly pulled the trigger on this a couple of times (I'm a sucker for white jazz basses) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Tokai-Jazz-Sound-Whi...=item4aaac2504c
10. For one hundred and fifty quid you could do a lot worse http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Black-Aria-Pro-11-6-...=item1e637770ae
11. How is this still here?! This is the best looking Jazz on basschat right now and a sound investment at a good price!
12.
Hi, Is it a Hutchins Prince ? Are you interested in any trades at all ? Ed.
It is indeed a Hutchins prince. I'm always open to a trade offer
13. I got this off the bay not too long ago, however I find myself playing less and less these days what with college and work taking up the majority of my time so I'm pretty much culling my collection and hanging on to my peavey to play with at home. Its a semi acoustic bass, set neck, sounds good and loud, grover tuners, has a 3 way switch les paul style (treble, rhythm). Its has cream binding (mmmm binding) around the body and the neck and is in excellent condition. Comes with a really smart tweed hard case thats got to be worth about 60 quid alone. It's currently not strung so that'll be down to you to string it and set up to your liking (flat wounds are the way to go if you ask me). Its super light as you would expect from a hollow body bass. I haven't gigged this bass just played with it at home. The case still has that new bass smell. I got it for 190 quid off the bay and thats exactly what I'm asking for it here. You can collect or I'll post for another 20 quid. You'd pay about 380 - 400 brand new. These are the pictures from the auction when I got it. Paypal or cash on collection.
14. Good luck to you mate, will be heading out there myself in 2012.
15.
I look forward to the review Kev. I was tempted by the green Hutchins hollowbody myself but they are a bit of an unknown brand for me - I've read about them but not played one
I was eyeing that one up myself but it sold the day after I had been looking at it.
16. My (soon to be with me) Hutchins Prince II bass complete with tweed hard case. Looking foward to receiving this one because I've never had a hollow body bass before. It's an ex demo model but with no marks or dinks, I may convert it to a fretless. It has a mahogany body, mahogany neck, grover tuners and arctec pickups. I had a look online and most stockists sell it with the case at 449 quid, one place had it at 390, I got it with case for 193 quid. I'll do a review when I get it.
