    As much as I like slap, I don’t know why but I really struggle to watch him , I’ve tried but I have to click off him

    When I first started playing reggae and dub it was kinda frowned upon by the people I was playing with to listen to any other genre , it’s crazy really, I used to keep it quiet that I liked peaches by the stranglers and public image. someone said to me a while back that they remembered that I used to like abba, I said, I still do 🙂

    I love a bit of slap especially in funk, but I don’t like the machine gun frantic style , I didn’t fully appreciate it until I had lessons for it , i found it quite hard and very time consuming , it took a long time to get a few simple grooves together, I gave up in the end

    Yeah, I’m not quite sure how that works, I don’t suppose they issue replacements without plenty of proof , otherwise, there could be a possibility of skulduggery

    The price seems about right, I’ve had a few custom shops, if it was me I’d find out if a replacement certificate is obtainable first or you might come up against a few problems further down the line if you decide to move it on 🙂

    It’s worth enquiring with the stores , I’ve done it quite a few times but personally the low offers I received were just insulting , I sold them privately and bought the basses I wanted elsewhere

    Hi mcnach, I did get a solo and your right it is a nicer bit of kit, I’m still experimenting with the track/bass recording levels, once I’ve sussed that out it will be better, I’ve been recording using headphones as suggested in another thread, can I ask, when you play back your recording do you play it through your rig or do you use powered monitors from your solo 🙂

    👍, You could, if you want, put an ad in the wanted section for a set of short scale flats, someone might have some and lots of people look there 🙂

    I found a set of old rounds in my drawer but they are 37in to the start of the silk, I don’t have anything that short or you could have had them
