    Rule of thumb is 2.5mm drill bit for no6 screws and 3mm drill bit for no8 screws, as Hellzero says go with 2.5 , if it feels too tight open them up to 3mm

    That will be fine, you are away from the rod and there’s space there, be sure to do a pilot a hole for the screw 👍

    Have you thought about a jazz , or is the nut too narrow, my P was my go to bass for years but now I prefer jazzes, it’s nice to have both 🙂

    That’s a great album to play along to, there’s some really nice Basslines on there , this is probably one of my all time favourites

    Not hated but I never had anything to do with ABBA back in the day, but now I don’t mind the occasional track, there’s some really challenging basslines on some of their music

    Have you tried playing different types or genres of music to what you would normally play, sometimes a change is as good as a rest 🙂
