Am I the only one who has never played a P Bass.?

I do exactly the same jonesy, I played my P for years then swiched to jazzes and the P went back in the case for about 2 years, then I got it out one day and loved it again now I’m liking both 😁, and looking at steinbergers -

I’ve got a really nice Tokai jazz that’s got no headstock decal, because the previous owner removed the fender jazz one that someone had put on it, it’s strange the things some people do

I study a lot of Flabba holts playing and he plays a steinberger L2 which I like the shape of, but they are quite expensive, I’ve got a big comfy chair in my bass room and I thought something smaller like that would be ideal, and I’ve never had a headless

Hi Bean, when I said real bass I meant a real bass guitar, the track I posted sounds like a synth bass or a mixer of some sort 🙂

Thanks for that chiliwailer 👍, I feel comfortable around the 40mm mark, a friend of mine has a 74 and it’s 43mm , I know it’s only a few mm but it felt really big , and it is quite deep front to back
