  1. Cruising through Woodford listening to this
  2. Don’t know them, and they’ve never come up in any of my searches
  3. Great thread, my bass tutor long time back in the day was a blues player, so I started out playing it, if I feel like some laid back tracks I normally play along to these .
  4. Dennis Bovell, silly dub
  5. Don’t know how you got on b5 , but there’s a nice 75RI here accepting offers, nothing to do with me 🙂 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Jazz-75-Vintage-Reissue-Bass-Made-In-USA-2002-/265665799556?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l6249&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0
  6. Would I replace a stock bridge on a 70s P for a Kickass type bridge ?, No never, I would definitely leave the original one on, I’ve switched the bridges about on a few of my jazzes ,but that was because I like the look of the threaded saddle type, and I can’t say I noticed any difference in the sound
  7. Definitely the shirt
  8. Really enjoying what Willi Williams has been putting out , great vocals

  12. Couple of tracks that took me back, don’t think we’ve had these , first up Linval Thompson cultural roots
  13. These are so good, I wouldn’t part with mine
  14. Welcome Matt 👍
  15. I use the V4B with a bb2 and it’s plenty loud I’d say for most standard situations, I’ve also had a lot of Ashdown heads and I’d say the V4 probably isn’t as loud as the ABM 600
  16. David Rodigan And Tony Williams had the best all time radio shows for me, definitely not Tony Blackburn 😁
  17. Don’t think I’ll be lending him mine 😁
  18. I haven’t been there yet, I don’t think it starts until about 10.30 , I might have to check it out one night 👍
  19. A bit of Earl George this morning , give thanks
  20. Hi Ricky, I don’t know much about the technical side of things but when I was looking to fit new ones in one of my precision’s I wanted a deeper bass sound and , a few early precision’s I’ve looked at had the original pickups replaced with DiMarzio ones ,which sounded quite bright to me, I opted for Toneriders which gave me nice lows and wasn’t so bright, I also had the cap changed which seemed to give a warmer sound, just a few options for you to look into 🙂
  21. I’ve watched quite a few so far, i like this one
