    I’m not sure Woodin, it looks like it has the black border around the edge like it used to be sunburst , but I could be wrong 🙂

    I had this on one of my jazzes a while back on the E string, I changed the string twice but it was still the same ,then I tried lowering the pickup a few screw turns and it was okay

    I’ve got one on a precision, great aren’t they, I found it’s worth taking the time to set it just how much you want it to mute, on the higher setting it put the bass out of tune, great for switching on and off quickly 👍
