  1. Welcome Brian 👍
  2. I’ve had those and I think they had a 38mm nut but was definitely deeper than a standard jazz neck from front to back, really nice basses
  3. Estimate is only an estimate, anything can happen on the day

  6. Vivian jones , lose yourself in the dub, nice bassline
  7. I’ve had so many headphones, I like my Dre studio beats for listening to music but I wouldn’t say they are good for learning basslines as I think the bass is boosted

  17. Great one Chris, I play this, really nice Bassline ☝️
  18. Old pic , it’s a maple board and jazz neck profile but the same model I think
  19. I’ve got an older mim precision which I put a jazz neck on, it’s very comfortable to play and personally I didn’t notice any difference in the sound, I’d say try it, if it’s not to your liking you can always change it back
  20. I’ve got the same bass from 1999 I think, if yours is anything like mine the necks are fantastic, if mine got to that stage I would have a refret
  21. Great cab and a great price, this is what I use, GLWYS Ander ☝️
  22. Welcome Gary 👍
  23. Hi, have you tried D’addario black tapewound strings, I’ve got 2 jazzes with them and they give a nice warm deep sound
  24. Any Horace Andy fans like me will enjoy this tiny desk concert , especially at 5.01 Doug Wimbish on bass holding down the groove to Safe from Harm, far right is Adrian Sherwood producer
