    Hi Folks My best mates clubbed together last week and bought me a Kindle for my 50th which was very nice of them.. ..And now I've sussed out how to use it, I'd like to get some bass books to put on it; tutorials, biographies, that sort of thing.. So just wondering if anyone knows of any good stuff in Kindle format that they would recommend?? Thanks Nik

    Isn't it a combination of these things mentioned above; the instruments, the players, the available technology at that time and of course, the skill / attitudes of the engineers, producers and arrangers.. Great thread btw!

    Great sounding passive basses these and those pick ups are so, so good! I have the two pick up version of this model and it's just a fantastic bass.. Good luck with the sale!

    All PMS replied to again, so a Tuesday morning BUMP! Just to say that the Metro does have some detachable castors that I fitted but the 210 cab doesn't have any. And, yes, the footswitch is included and that allows you to mute the sound for tuning and to switch quickly between the solid-state and valve channels.

    Just bought a H&K Bassbase 600 head from Dougal and I can echo all of the above sentiments.. Excellent communications throughout and first-class directions!! Some mighty fine basses too, which were a pleasure to play whist testing the head.. Thanks Dougal!

This bass has certainly done the rounds since I did a trade for it with it's original owner back in Autumn 2009, which surprises me because it's such a great sounding bass! I would definitely have kept it if it'd been a 34" scale neck.. Good luck with the sale/trade!
