This, and many other Caravan Palace tunes 👍

I'm feeling a bit down with all this virussy business, but this song just came on and made my smile! What's your happy tune?

Why do some BC sellers insist on buyer arranging courier?
Ricky 4000 replied to Clarky's topic in General Discussion
I tried to sell something once (not on here), with delivery at the buyer's risk. I didn't get any buyers! 😆 -
😍

To me, upscaling remote ordering and home deliveries should be key to this whole social distancing thing. Surely it's a lot easier to manage than herds of people heading to the same places (shops, chemists etc), even when that is 'only for essentials'.

Times like these, what you want is a P with rounds and a J with flats. 😲

Biggest Bass Drop... EVER!!! #Edit:It's come to my attention that the term “Bass Drop" is not universal so may I add that this thread is asking for members to share their favourite Outstanding Bass moments in songs & has nothing to do with dropping fish*

Little Phil Collins, was it? Wow again! To paraphrase Norman Watt-Roy: Were they charging by the note?- 66 replies

Fab' stuff. I'm in awe of anybody who plays a double bass, and her particularly. I'd like to get one myself, but I'm much to lazy to practice standing up. 😬

Loving this slow version with the double bass:

Respect! 😗

Is it 20 or 50? How much is a monkey? 500 is it? I'm sure a Jeffrey is 2000. 👍

I assume 'pony and trap' -- not good.

That wasn't very nice of them. 🤔

Aye, it's dishonest people abusing the rules designed to protect honest buyers.
-
Yup, or if they're slightly more sophisticated they can switch their faulty internal parts with the good parts from the item they've bought. Therefore what they return looks correct from the outside, and if applicable, also has the correct serial number. It's a scam that was going on long before eBay. i.e. dishonest mechanics returning faulty parts to motor factors. Beware of any garage workshop with a gleaming parts washer! 😬

This ^^^^ Even to the point of appearing to play along, to get your sax back before he gets his payment reversed. Hopefully he's just a nutter rather than a scammer. I was naive once and got scammed by a 'buyer'. Nett loss of £200... every day's a school day... 😬
