  1. EMG B64 3 band preamp, EMG 35DC and EMG 35J pickups, bought for a project that never happened. The 3 band preamp has FIXED pots 3 in a line @ 32mm centres running 18 volts..bass, mid & treb (all have detent) Volume and blend are not fixed and flexible. Everything is there including the knobs and jack socket. Open to reasonable offers...cheers Dave
  2. Lakland Darryl Jones sure it has a smaller body..i had skyline version a bit heavy but beautifully put together
  3. Hear, hear m8 i'll second that 👍
  4. There you are m8, and they wont fall in either 🤣
  5. What stain did you apply on the swamp ash ? It looks good 👍
  6. John had the loom finished i was after within hours, answered any questions i had, sent finished pictures + tracking details on a Friday and delivered Tuesday...brilliant service thank you very much sir👍
  7. There's Sire and Ibanez in the for sale section on here bud maybe something else pops up that you never thought about, Ibanez don't hold their value for some reason but i've seen some premier stuff go for less than half price. Have a look at the classifieds see what you like take some notes read reviews and take it from there,
  8. Bartolini NTBT-918, 4 knob 2 band eq - 9 or 18 volts. Cost £110 thru BassDirect roughly 3 months ago. Price includes p&p...cheers
  9. You've got a good pair of hands there bud, lovely craftsmanship
  10. Cheers for the input gents, 2v + 2t it is..nice and easy 👍
  11. Good point bud, 2@ vol + 2@ tone..cheers for that
  12. Pondering wether to pick up another Legend thats been totally gutted..i've known about it for a wee while but just fancy having a tinker about. I don't want to spend a fortune on it so think i'll skip buying a preamp and keep it passive. Question is with 4 knobs what would be best configuration..vol + vol + blend + tone ? I can't think off any other...cheers in advance Dave
  13. Know the feeling bud, just your username rang a bell...anyway glwts 👍
  14. Tremendous basses these...i'm on my 2nd Schecter a lot off bass for little money. Hope you don't mind me asking but did i buy a Warwick Streamer from you yonks ago ?
  15. Can't go wrong with a Legend imo, i picked one up for 300 quid..bought it to try something else away from Fender. Gutted all the electrics, stuck new pickups & preamp in also machine heads. Or just leave it as, cost just over the 600 mark all in..it's a cracking bass, i'm even more surprised i haven't sold it on
  16. Brilliant live album...even better as i was there
  17. Neck plate & control plate should be ok for powdercoating but bridge...i'd get rechromed, powdercoat can part fill any grooves/guides in bridge. For chromers i'd look at those who chrome classic motorcycle parts...
  18. Well, as probably been said before go get yourself checked out. Ask your doctor for an xray at hospital, theres no appointment as such he just sent them a message saying i was comming in (could be different in England, Wales i dunno) and got results back in 10 days. It'll give you an idea whats happening if any
  19. Thanks very much folks 👍..didn't expect that to happen today, i'll get the glue and get it fixed tomorrow. By the way Christine the T cut worked a treat, couple of hours and job was done...thanks again & cheers
  20. A bit downtime today so went about setting up a Schecter i got a wee while ago, everything fine till i adjusted pickup height when one machine screw pulled the thread insert out..its still quite tight pushing the insert back in, i'm thinking glue/super glue or whatevers best, i really don't know...thanks in advance for any info
  21. Not so much spots but a very light misting on the lacquer looks like dust..you cant feel it its just annoying knowing its there. I've got some T cut so i'll give it a go...thanks very much 👍
  22. Christine, what do you use for cutting back prior to a final polish ? One bass i have looks as tho theres a bit over spray when the light catches it...cheers
