The only thing that I've found that can deteriorate is the foam pop shield that they insert behind the metal windshield on the likes of the SM58 and some AKG mics. On my AGK 5900C's the foam shield has started to crumble on a few of them and so I've bought up some stock to replace them in the future. Probably a good idea for hygiene reasons as well.

Sold - Zero 88 lighting console for sale. The full spec and user manual can be downloaded here. - Sold Basically it is a 24 channel DMX lighting controller. If you have DMX controlled LED Par Cans this will allow you to program scenes and then run them through in a sequence. For example you could set up a scene where all lights were red and then provide a slow and gradual fade to blue. This looks much more sophisticated than LED Par cans running on sound to light where the the colours tend to bounce and strobe all over the place. Everything works as expected on the console, cosmetically it is looking a little tired as there is some paint loss on the top panel. This however is reflected in the price. Can post at cost. Happy to answer any questions. Thanks for looking.

Just bought a microphone off Simon. Nice smooth transaction, just like you want it to be and the item was received promptly. An asset to the BC community and yet one more good reason why BC is the best place to trade. Thanks again Simon.

Very tidy Squier 5 string Precision for sale. The neck on this is quite wide, 51mm at the nut and 69.5mm at the 12th fret. Having said that it is surprisingly easy to play and would be a great way of getting into 5 stingers. The colour of the bass is proving exceptionally difficult to photograph accurately but it's best described as champagne silver. Everything works as it should. Comes with a basic gig bag. I'll let the photos do the talking. Collection only or could possibly meet up somewhere within reason. Located near Stratford upon Avon. SOLD

Behringer Xyeny 2222 FX Mixer [s]for sale.[/s] SOLD Full specs can be found here - http://www.music-gro.../2222FX/p/P0558 Having owned a multitude of different mixers in my time this is truly a very well spec'd and featured desk for its size making it extremely versatile for live and recording use. I have to say that I keep having second thoughts about selling it. Everything works as it should. The overall condition is very good, just some very small paint loss on the right side panel at the top as can be seen in the photos. The mixer comes complete with the USB interface, leads and rack mounting strips. Collection preferred from near Stratford upon Avon but can post at cost. Happy to answer any questions. Thanks for looking.

The strings are flatwounds and are about 18 months old at a guess. I suppose the other factor is where you measure the string from and to. If you measure from the point at which is attaches to the ball then you'll loose another 2.5mm at each end approx. I have a brand new set of GHS strings here also and measuring the E string shows it to be 913mm from ball centre to ball centre. From ball edge to ball edge it is showing 908mm so I suppose this is where Status are getting their dimensions from.
-
I've just been able to measure the Status strings on my Spirit XZ-25 and under tension, from hole centres of each ball the string length is 914mm, so I don't know if that helps.

Can't say that I've ever come across the exact thing that you are after but you can get insulating boots for the rear of IEC sockets - Link If you fit one of those and secure it in place would that work for you? As an added precaution I would buy some thin sleeving and fit it over the individual live, neutral and earth wires where they connect to the tags. Heat-shrink sleeving would be ideal for this.
