    feedback for Deedee

Sold a strap to Dan. Nice easy deal, just like you like it to be. Another good reason why BC is the place to trade. Thanks again Dan.
  3. Sold a strap to Johann. Nice easy deal, just like you like it to be. Another good reason why BC is the place to trade. Thanks again.
  4. Sold - Trace Elliot 7 band Graphic EQ for sale. £45 includes postage within mainland UK. Now £40. - Sold Legendary TE build quality, includes two switchable pre-shape options. It requires 2 x 9V batteries or an 18V centre negative power supply (neither included). Other than that it does what it says on the tin!
  5. Sold- Two straps for sale, £12.50 each, includes postage within UK. - Sold The first is made by Levy's. It's a fairly hard brown leather, 6.5cm wide. is in good condition with minimal use. The second is an unbranded suede leather strap, a Red wine / Burgundy colour, very soft and pliable. Measures 6.3cm wide. I used this on my Warwick Thumb in order to help compensate for the famous neck-dive that the bass is infamous for and it worked a treat. Again in good condition.
  6. I had exactly the same problem finding a switch knob for my Stingray 5 a few months ago and ended up buying several until finding one that fitted. Finally ended up with this one - here - Although it says its for a Strat it looks the same as the Stingray knob. From memory the shaft size on the switch is 5mm wide and so the 4.7mm slot which they specify fits a treat.
  7. Maplin sell a socket terminal - here As BassBunny has said the best bet will be to extract the pins from the connector housing and make up a new wire lead. The pins are held in place with a small latch and if you use something like the end of an unfolded paperclip to push on the latch the pin can then be extracted. This is the approach I've used many times in the past and it's worked a treat.
  8. Sold a bass to Stuart. Nice easy deal, met up to complete the transaction. Good comms throughout the whole time and a pleasure to do business with. Welcome back any time. Thanks Stuart and hope you enjoy the bass. Col
  9. Just bought a midi unit off Cal. Nice smooth transaction, just like you want it to be and the item was received promptly. An asset to the BC community and yet one more good reason why BC is the best place to trade. Thanks again Cal
  10. There are no cases included in the package, the lights were transported in the back of my estate car, packed securely. However I do have two individual flight cases which could be made available but this would need to be negotiated as a separate deal.
  11. Hi Kevin, I'm posting this from memory and from quickly reading the manual so I stand to be corrected but as far as I know it should be possible to configure the desk to provide a sub output. The desk has the standard A/B outputs for driving the left and right channels but in addition has 4 Omni outputs which can be configured to the Aux sends. It should be possible to configure one of the Omni outputs as a direct feed to your active sub. A copy of the manual can be found here and if you go to page 94 then 116 it explains the options for the Aux sends and Omni outputs. Most importantly it provides a four-band parametric EQ and dynamics processors on the Aux sends so that you can tailor the frequency response of the signal being sent to the active sub. The remaining 3 Omni outputs could then be configured to other Aux sends so that you have provision for stage monitoring etc. If you have not used a digital desk before then its operation can be a little daunting. So if you decide to go for it then I would strongly recommend that you sit down at home with the desk and your PA system and spend a few quiet hours finding your way around it. The flexibility and options it provides are very extensive but you need to familiarise yourself with them before going out gigging with it. Certainly do not go straight out on a gig with it working from scratch. Once you've grasped the principle of operation you will not want to go back to an analogue desk. So in summary it doesn't have a dedicated sub out but I can see no reason why you can't drive it via the Omni outputs. On a more general note I am absolutely amazed that this mixer is still up for sale as such a ridiculously low price. These regularly sell on eBay for much more money and certainly not in such nice condition as this desk. This has to be the bargain of the month. If I can be of any further help please give me a shout.
  12. Hi, it weights in at 9lb 8oz on the digital bathroom scales.
  13. Sold some bass bits to Brian. Nice easy deal, just like you like it to be. Another good reason why BC is the place to trade. Thanks again Brian.
  14. Sold a bass to Kev. Nice easy deal, met up to complete the transaction. Good comms throughout the whole time and a pleasure to do business with. Welcome back any time. Thanks Kev and hope you enjoy the bass. Col
  15. Had a couple of people pm me asking about the weight of the bass. It is showing 7lb 9oz on the digital bathroom scales.
  16. I bought this lovely little Galaxie off Pestie a few months ago with the intention of using it at home to noodle on. The reality is that I only play 5 strings these days so always tend to gravitate towards a 5'ver. It's a a shame as it needs to be used. This is a contemporary reissue and not an original 60's model, that said its a cracking little bass. As you can see from the photos it is in overall very good condition and strung with flats. More photos can be made available on request. The bass doesn't have a bag or case so will need to be collection only I'm afraid. Located near Stratford upon Avon the kettle is always at the ready.
  17. All items now sold on Ebay. The clear-out continues and I am selling some of my lighting which isn't getting used much at the moment. The MH640 uses a 250W discharge lamp MSD250. They have CMY colour mixing to provide an almost infinite range of colours, 6 colour filters + open and beam shape effect. The lights have been used so there are a few marks and scratches on them but nothing too distracting. The lamps are both good, Both units have been fully cleaned and serviced and ready to go. The Futurelight units were made at the same factory as Robe and so spares are still readily available should they ever be needed. The manual for the MH640 can be found here. Any questions please don't hesitate to contact me by pm and I'll do my best to answer them. By the very nature of the units they have to be collected. I'm located not too far from Stratford upon Avon and the kettle is always at the ready.
  18. Sold - A Set of four Wilkinson tuners with bushes for sale (sorry, no screws available) - Sold I bought these for a project but found the footprint of the base plate a little too large so will not be using them. A couple of them are marked around the screw holes where it looks like someone has attempted to remove fixing screws previously. I have tried to show this in the photos so if you want something that is perfect then these are not for you. Other than that they do what is says on the tin. £12.50 posted.
  19. The only thing that I've found that can deteriorate is the foam pop shield that they insert behind the metal windshield on the likes of the SM58 and some AKG mics. On my AGK 5900C's the foam shield has started to crumble on a few of them and so I've bought up some stock to replace them in the future. Probably a good idea for hygiene reasons as well.
  20. Sold - Zero 88 lighting console for sale. The full spec and user manual can be downloaded here. - Sold Basically it is a 24 channel DMX lighting controller. If you have DMX controlled LED Par Cans this will allow you to program scenes and then run them through in a sequence. For example you could set up a scene where all lights were red and then provide a slow and gradual fade to blue. This looks much more sophisticated than LED Par cans running on sound to light where the the colours tend to bounce and strobe all over the place. Everything works as expected on the console, cosmetically it is looking a little tired as there is some paint loss on the top panel. This however is reflected in the price. Can post at cost. Happy to answer any questions. Thanks for looking.
  21. Just bought a microphone off Simon. Nice smooth transaction, just like you want it to be and the item was received promptly. An asset to the BC community and yet one more good reason why BC is the best place to trade. Thanks again Simon.
