Basically it is a 24 channel DMX lighting controller. If you have DMX controlled LED Par Cans this will allow you to program scenes and then run them through in a sequence.  For example you could set up a scene where all lights were red and then provide a slow and gradual fade to blue. This looks much more sophisticated than LED Par cans running on sound to light where the the colours tend to bounce and strobe all over the place.

Everything works as expected on the console, cosmetically it is looking a little tired as there is some paint loss on the top panel. This however is reflected in the price.
