1. I love these things. And they play wonderfully! I bought one of the cheap ones they do a few years ago. Recorded a full album with it.. sounded Great, but sold it as I just couldn't see myself playing it live. I'm a big lad and ibfelt like I was playing a you guitar! 😂😂😂
2. Just to bring the tone down slightly... I bought a Squier vm jazz on here. Paid by bank transfer (stupidly).the guy done a runner. Still seething. 😂😂😂😂
3. Take out the mega lows for stage purposes and let the pa do the hard work. I eq out alot below 50hz. I know that might technocally affect the actual tone but it's hardly noticeable in my experience. It lets the audible frequencies become...well... more audible. You can squeeze alot more out a wee cabinet than you'd imagine, aslong as you're realistic. **disclaimer - there's nothing scientific about this post, it's just from my experience **
4.
amazing how much you save when you don't have to research and develop it if everyone bought these copies, Tech21 would go bust, then what will they copy? Luckily they sell enough to keep going hehe not having a go at anyone buying a bargain, I certainly have with Joyo pedal boards and power supplies, just making a point. I managed to snag a fly rig at nearly half price, used from a distributor and it really is nice, hope this one is as good for you.
Yep I agree. I actually wrote a bit on my post saying the same thing but I deleted it before posting. It's pretty scandalous that it seems to be acceptable for companies to do this.
5. Just sounds like light chorus to me. Nice, but not particularly unusual!
6. Excellent! It separates out the octave and fuzz too... so it might actually be better than the flyrig rig in a practical sense! Pretty much half the price too.
7. Sold a box amplug to Matt. Quick payment, easy deal. Good stuff
8. I've actually got higher through the years. Back when i started it was all about getting aa low as possible. Now I very rarely play heavy rock or particularly fast things so having a gast action isn't required. The clean tone from a medium high action is my ideal sound.
9. 1 bump before my pal gets a late (and probably unwanted) birthday pressie....
10. With these it is possible to plug it in whilst using it? As in, use it like a traditional power supply?
11.
Fyi the the link requires me to give permission to allow Google Photos access to my files - pretty offputting! Maybe embed photos instead?
Ooh.. thanks for the heads up.
12. How about 25 quid delivered?
13.
Mine is just going back into it's box as a b'day pressie for my nephew who is embarking on his bass journey. Shiny new B3n in its place
Oh how I would have loved this pedal when i started! I had a zoom 506 (still do actually) and it ney put me off effects completely! Haha!
14. Ok, how about £46 delivered to your door? Great fuzz, great pedal, great price!
15. https://goo.gl/photos/ySQty9DZPySt5mFa8 Bought this on a whim last year with a plan to defret it These are £117 brand new. Outstanding quality for such cheap bass. 2 issues with it. One of the pots is slightly lose and has stopped working. Almost certainly an easy fix . Also, in an attempt to remove it, the 24th fret has been squashed a little. It's only visible if you're actually looking for it and it doesn't make any difference to the playability of the thing. Delivery will be £20.00 which will be done with the neck removed.so cheap just to get rid before a house move. Edit: this is a deko instrument, but I have no idea why Edit 2: after trying it again, the knobs all work... one is abit slack but it works fine.
16. https://goo.gl/photos/TtESNFet7ykNRKS99 Bought this brand new last year from thomann. Just search this very forum for people's opinions on them. Easily giggable. It is quite heavy though, so underneath the pickgaurd I've drilled away some wood making it slightly lighter. Obviously that makes no cosmetic change I'm doing a clear out for an impending house move and I'm not currently in a band so i don't really need a back up of a back up. Delivery is 15 quid which will be done with the neck removed. Or i can deliver within a reasonable distance of Glasgow ( for a wee bit petrol money) Apologies for the photo, but you get the idea. Thanks Sold
17. I've got the jazz one of this. Outstanding bass so i Would imagine this being the same. The higher end ones come with that bridge. Looks amazing. However I'm currently mid cull, so can't really go for it. Good luck!
18. Eminence BASSLITE S2010 8ohm 10" NEO 150watt Hiya. I have 2 x speakers for sale. These have been safely in a cabinet since 2013. They are in perfect condition despite being used. Never once been pushed- I have been very particular about this. Great speakers and very light. A very cheap and easy way to improve an old and heavy 2x10 You may have or a wee combo. £45 per speaker plus delivery. Or I can deliver within a reasonable distance of Glasgow. No photos at the moment but can arrange this if required Ta.
19. What's the neck like? Any where near a jazz by any chance?
20.
Absolutely spot on. For me the Air Fix analogy above doesn't work. It's a model vs a working real machine. We're talking about two things that perform the same task. It's like when people buy fake Louis Vuitton handbags or fake Stone Island jackets. It's wrong. It's not attention to detail, it's robbing someone else's credit.
This is bang on. That spitfire analogy is miles off the mark. I simply don't understand why it seems to be acceptable to do this. In any other walk of life, rebadging an item to pass it off as a premium brand (hmmm) is just simply wrong. If you're happy to play a Harley Benton for example, then you should be giving them the credit. In fact, i love to see guys playing not that expensive instruments and making them sound decent! Fraser
21.
Hiya, Does this have an aux in as well as a headphones out?
Certainly does! The perfect all in one silent practice solution.
22.
See, for me that's not clickbait. 'Clickbait', as I understand it, is about enticing people to click on stuff for the sake of generating advertising venue (from click-through fees). What you've pointed to here is a free tutorial, made available by Scott, which is actually useful. That's not clickbait. Sure, Scott runs a business and he'd love us all to be subscribers to his commercial service. And this video is designed as a taster for that. But it's not clickbait in the true sense of the word. It's just a snappily written video title. Better that than "Practice lick #142" or whatever the alternatives might be
This. 100% The content provided for free by Scott (and no doubt the other guy too) is excellent. Can't rely understand how anyone can complain about it! Clickbait for me is things like 'how to lose a stone in a week guaranteed' or 'see Kylie minogue naked'. I've clicked on both and they weren't what they said they were!
23. No-one want this but bit of fuzzy goodness?
24. Or a vox amplug. Sounds vastly better than headphone out on an amp. I find them to be a bit sterile sounding. There's one for sale in the classifieds Oops, i agree with fretmeister
25.
I'm a dyed-in-the-wool PJ player and I couldn't get on with the Aerodyne because: 1. The bound edges are uncomfortable. 2. The stock pups are really weedy. I swapped mine for Fralins and this then brought out the real sound of the bass... 3. The sound of the bass for whatever reason (basswood body perhaps?) didn't click with me. 4. You can't fit an aftermarket bridge without some fettling. The stock bridge is very good though. It looks stunning and has a great neck.
It's funny, the sharp body has never even crossed my mind. I feel it, but it's not uncomfortable. I play finger style though so my arm isn't really in that area i suppose.
