Ooohh are we doing fretless pics?
Pics, clips, all things that go mwah are fair game I reckon. -

Recently bought a Wal No 1 fretless as my dream bass.
Pics needed!
In that vein here are mine:

Doesn't quite count as employment, methinks!
"Successful applicants will be invited to attend a music session in the presence of the company directors" sounds like a commercial venture to me. -
Stop it! Stop it now! Quick nurse the screens!

I'm not sure one is allowed to state a preferred age range under current employment law.

And there was I well into my subtle persuasion technique on the Mrs . Sounds like a good decision on your part given the history of this thread. However, now I really want one and Bass Direct only have 1 and that's a 5 stringer (the nut width is a bit much for me), maybe I should put my '63 P up for sale and wait until they get some 4s in stock and then fill my boots.

After playing one recently I want a fretless so bad.
Just do it, no quiver is complete without one. -
I like my fretted basses but it's my fretless ones that really make me smile. There is currently a Rob Allen MB-2 in the for sale section that really has got my GAS going, especially as it has this really nice piece in the post as an example of the the tone,

And as always Pino just blows me away,

Listening to wonderful fretless players with their superb technique, tone, etc makes me want to sell my fretted basses and just slip and slide my playing life away -
This is going to make for some 'interesting' conversations at Ez Towers as even Mrs Ez thinks it sounds really good (in BC speak this would rate as awesome).

Ooh wow! The final reincarnation is very nicely done.

My Ibby GWB35 started like this

Then became this

And now currently looks like this

Glad to see you've gone with the one you initially liked, but as ever on BC, pics or it never happened

Ah, I thought I'd posted this already, but apparently not.
There's been a change of plan for the September show, and he's bringing his UK-based band up instead.
I'm gutted, but given the lack of a rehearsal and soundcheck I totally understand. Hopefully I'll have another opportunity further down the line.
A fine attitude displayed there in spite of how much it must sting. -

I do however wonder if the responses in this topic might have been a little different if that young Mr Bieber had done this.
Mr Frampton doesn't have a whole lot of previous of being an utter arse, unlike the precocious, previously mentioned teen heart throb, so I think he can be cut some additional slack, in fact quite a lot of it. -

WOW! That bootifool. [drool]
Ta very much, here's the thread that reveals how it was done and the inspiration http://basschat.co.uk/topic/239468-diy-dirty-blonde/ -
I've posted this elsewhere but I guess it should be here too; I've recently pimped my stripped back GWB35

Not so sure about that Jazz... did Fender ever do that colour combo in the 60's?
I'd have prefered Sonic blue or salmon/shell pink.
If they did Philw's custom shop idea that'd be an option. -
With the body width and the scale length it looks like it's missing two strings and the ones on there are too fat. I don't know what Alembics go for but that doesn't seem unreasonable given that they're an über premium brand.
Why can't I find a band?!?!

Why is it always drummers that are so hard to find? far fewer people must play drums than other instruments or it wouldn't be so difficult to find a good one....
I wonder if this is down to the logistics of the instrument for gigging or the ability to learn without alienating those within earshot. It certainly can't be down to the actual appeal of beating the skins; let's be honest who doesn't feel the draw of the kit when your drummer has temporarily vacated his stool?
