  1. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Headless-bass-guitar-custom-painting/163898945003 (I do quite like the paint job, though!)
  2. Maybe they're very rare because they didn't sell very well...
  3. I find pancake plugs real sods to solder! I went to Dawsons once looking for cables with pancake plugs and they said they'd never heard of them. These days, for in-pedalboard, I use EBS Flats.
  4. Purley - that might be a way...
  5. I didn't know they'd done a headed one. (I used to have a headless.)
  6. A lot of folks do bring theirs, but it’s not compulsory. There’s a fair amount of sharing goes on.
  7. The special Warwick handcrafted in China range...?
  8. Fantastic bodgework there!
  9. It says RRP £399 - nobody would pay that for a Shine. £149 might be worth a punt. They're sub £100 instruments used.
  10. Once I rose above the noise and confusion...
  11. I bought a cab there last year; took it into the hall and tried it out with my Elf, easy buy.
  12. Yeah, but they play, sound, and look great!
  13. It looks a bit scruffy for the price.
  14. It looks to me like the new bridge/tailpiece assembly needs more body routing to fit, so it won't be a drop-in replacement.
  15. One of my projects is an RB. It's got pickups and i just need to buy some pots and wire it up...
  16. I like the hex screws holding the bridge on...
  17. Definitely natural ash finish.
  18. You can say that again!
  19. It's just a knackered Warwick with a pickguard.
  20. So, it'll have a farty sound and only do root notes & 5ths.
  21. The one I go to is really good - they cure their own and cut it to order.
  22. Shame it's not Ashford, Middlesex - that'd be easier to get to! 🙂
  23. I went to the Northampton guitar show today. It was rather good, had a nice chat with various folks there. Took my earplugs, but I didn't need them. In the way home I stopped of at the Biltong shop and bought a couple of bags of provisions.
