I got the MIDI Mongoose, but haven't tried it yet; I think it's either something I'll "get" or it'll be a pain in the rear doing a little dance (the "mongoose step"?) operating it.

Is that video the same gig? I'm sure I've seen it with different music.

Ah - Machine Head - Glover on his Rickenbacker bass.

Air guitars have been on ebay for at least a decade 0/10. -
A lot of the vids were deliberately retro. The Garden on the Clockwork Angels tour was spot on.

The MIDI Mongoose also accepts phantom power over the MIDI cable - does the FI supply that? (It also has a DC in and 9V battery option.)

They're CC1 & CC2, so indeed are TRS connectors for pedals. I guess I meant I only bought it as a switcher.

See - I told you!
-
Yes - definitely a poor show putting your acoustics there; next someone will be showing ukuleles!
-
It's just a switcher - I hadn't really considered expression.

I got a MIDI switcher to go with mine; I need a couple of wires to connect it (power and a right-angled MIDI), but my board's almost there.

I had a go on one on the Orange stand at the Brum Guitar Show - it was really very good.

Worked with Elton John, David Bowie, Lou Reed, and one or two others... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herbie_Flowers

That is a pretty lame steampunk attempt.

You can't put "no returns" to cover (undeclared) faulty or SNAD items; it's just covering goodwill returns. However, I'd say the listing was pretty clear that it was just the flightcase and the misunderstanding was on the buyer's part.

It's gone!

I do like the look of them. They are medium scale instruments, I think.
-
Haha - I've had it for years and will keep it for many more.

There's a real 4004 Cheyenne on ebay at the moment.

I am currently sitting on an Aeron.

When I made my Tele from parts, I plugged it in and played the riff to Communication Breakdown; it was one of those "Oh yes, I get it!" moments.
