  1. Hi all, Friend of mine has a Fender jazz bass that is made in Japan which I am interested in buying but the serial number doesn't seem right. It is only 5 numbers - no letters. From what I can see online, this is not normal for Japanese made Fenders. Any ideas please?
  2. along with a full gas can and a lit match!
  3. Sure are! They seem to be the answers to questions nobody ever asked - or dared to even consider!
  4. Stone cold bargain! Can't believe this hasn't sold. German built Warwick Streamer $$ for £700? You won't do better for twice the money! Incredible tones, versatility, playability and build quality!
  5. What is the price in euros please?
  6. This bass is now reserved for Z**r as he has paid a deposit.
  7. thank you for you comment and bringing to my attention the problem with the photos. The bass is still available and I have now restored all the photos.
  8. Crazy, these are one of, if not themost versatile and incredible sounding Warwicks you can buy!
  9. **Now Sold** For sale is this stunning Pedulla MVP-4 custom bass guitar. This beautiful bass was lovingly handcrafted in the USA in 1991 by master luthier Michael Pedulla. The bass is completely original except for the strings. The unique and beautiful body shape of the bass allows for excellent balance when playing sitting or standing. The bass is lightweight at only 3.9KG / 8.6lb, so you can easily play longer gigs without having to visit a chiropractor the next day! Included in the sale is the original Pedulla hard case and an original truss rod adjustment tool. As many of you may already know, Michael Pedulla has retired, so no more Pedulla basses are being made. Therefore, this is a rare opportunity to acquire one of his incredible instruments while you still can. This bass is now 32 years old, but it has been well cared for over those 32 years. However, it is not a "case queen" and has been played a lot during that time. Therefore, while it is in very good condition for its age, it does have some minor cosmetic flaws that you would expect on any used instrument. These defects include tarnishing of the gold fittings, some dents that have resulted in small chips in the varnish and paint (some of which have been previously stained), cracks in the varnish along the side of the fingerboard. It is important to note that these are not structural defects, but merely minor visual imperfections. Please look closely at the photos to see these minor imperfections - I have carefully photographed the bass to show all of them so you know exactly what you are getting. The reason this bass is not a "case queen" is, of course, because it is an absolute killer bass and you will not want to put it down once you have played it! I am only selling it because I now only play 5-string basses and so this bass needs a new home.
  10. Except that there are more exclusions to that rule than there are inclusions...
  11. judging by the "photo" and crazy low price, I would say it is a scam...
  12. Is it any good for meatal?
  13. Or for butchering classic cuts...
  14. Think the name is more to do with the DARKglass preamp onboard...
  15. That is a really beautiful bass! I'm not normally a fan of high gloss finishes but that is rather nice!
  16. dont forget to rub half the paint off and charge extra for it too!
  17. the build quality makes it quite obvious this person knows what they are doing. Do you not place any value on this persons time and the materials used? I would happily pay that much for such an instrument.
  18. Would help to know where you are based. I had a bass refinished by a guy in the West Midlands for about £200 and was very happy with it.

  20. Wow! That is actually bird's-eye Maple on the top. These are a very limited run - distinguished by the exotic top and the soapbar pickups. If you email Hans-Peter Wilfer with some pics and the serial number he will give you the full details of the bass. Gorgeous bass! GLWTS
