Krivo magnetic pickup - £120 - *SOLD*

Hi all, I was lucky enough to get this package today. The bass is exceptional as you’d expect from an Ibanez build. The sound from the synth pickup and synth unit is both intermittent and crackly. Volume changes up and down randomly. (I knew this issue before paying for the package and it was all priced in!) I wanted to know if anyone could recommend a synth repair specialist or someone who could help me get it back to working order? All comments and advice appreciated.

The videos where he plays the fastest, most challenging and complex lines is the logical end point for someone like this. He’s incredibly talented and is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. Is it musical? Possibly. Does it have any real artistic value? Probably not. Is it fun? Yes. This is his job. He doesn’t profess to be a musical genius, just a guy who’s using what talent he has to make an independent living. Good for him. I really can’t see much difference between what he’s doing and the people at the Olympics. Both pushing the boundaries of human endeavour in arbitrary and ultimately pointless activities. It’s the essence of humanity.

100% this. World has changed, just got to respect the algorithm!

Looks like a great festival. Fingers crossed with the weather!

“The son shall not suffer for the iniquity of the father” Long haired bloke, famous dad.

Seems like a good kid. He’s just given away thousands of free tickets to his festival to those on low incomes. We may be old and embittered but there’s something about your first rock band or rock artist and the guy seems to be doing great business around the world.

Sad indictment of the world. “It was working perfectly last time I used it…”

This is very very good. -
Nah, I think you've got this wrong. It's not humorous or in any way and is calibrated to offend people. Not sure trying to justify this is a good look. But, I agree we should ignore Letts and let SEO do its work.

I’ll be honest and say this is my first thought too. I’d never send cash to anyone through FB, Gumtree or anything like that. Hopefully this is a misunderstanding or miscommunication and will be sorted soon.

Lend us £20 mate?

Technically I’m replacing something (you’d know why!). Will pay my sub in a moment:
-
Ahh my sub has lapsed as I’m trying not to buy and sell anything. But I need a new, low cost DB for outdoor gigs, busking, pubs etc.
-
I posted on the FS the read but obviously been deleted as it’s a transgression. You can take a look on the wanted section and I promise not to break any more rules.

Im still gainfully employed! All joking aside, it’s going well thanks. Something like 20 - 30 gigs a year which is about right for me. -

1972 Jazz Bass - Verification of a few things
Burns-bass replied to TheStarsmith's topic in Bass Guitars
This is the bass in question. https://www.andybaxterbass.com/collections/bass-guitars/products/1965-fender-jazz-bass-sunburst-3 My early 1967 jazz bass has lollipop tuners. (Serial number is 1966 but the pickups have a 67 stamp date). I have no idea what the reality of this (and in all honesty, I don’t care), but it is interesting all these differences. My 1967 bass is totally original but doesn’t have a button on the back of the headstock. Why? I don’t know. -
It was on their Instagram feed few days ago. I’ve bought several guitars from Graham at amazing prices. He (and the rest of the people at the shop) are brilliant. Thoroughly recommend them to anyone.

I’m guessing you bought the fretless from Badlands? Looked like a lovely thing at a fantastic price.
