  1. That’s just a standard filter, so yes 100% agree.
  2. Looks lovely! I think what you’re doing is ace. Great products, great prices and descriptions. Good luck with the business!!!
  3. . If you enter through the homepage you’re less likely to be searching for an individual product rather than browse through the whole range. If you’re searching for a specific product (a 1973 Precision for example) you’ll most likely have discovered the site through a search engine and enter through the product page.
  4. Try explaining this to some web designers is a nightmare. I’m having this exact issue when building a new e-commerce site… The bass bros site is ok, and they’re banking on the audience being less concerned with instant fulfilment.
  5. Any (reasonable) offers? I really don’t want to have to do eBay, but I will as I need this moved on. Interested in trades too!
  6. Exceptional amps. Regret selling mine.
  7. I did sell it 20 odd years ago, so it’s likely broken by now!
  8. Now £1550. I need this gone to pay for home improvements (and maybe a new Czech Ease bass...)
  9. I sold one of these to Phil Oakey from the Human League. It was (and I think still is) used on their tours. I lost a fortune posting it as it was all flight cased.
  10. I sold this and it was exquisite in every way. Think the retail price would be around £3k
  11. If buy it, but the train to collect it from central London is £208 return.
  12. I once did a gig with an Australian band and the bass player asked to borrow my Musicman Stingray. They were headlining and was told if I didn’t the gig wouldn’t go ahead. After the gig my bass somehow ended up in his dressing room covered in coats. A heated discussion later and I extricated the bass! I can understand not wanting to fly with the bass. If it were me, I’d order a HB 5 string from Thomson and have it delivered to the venue…
  13. Ahh, so the bridge itself can sometimes lift a little bit away from the body over time. This happens on most, if not all, Rickenbackers. It’s nothing to worry about, but I wouldn’t feel right not mentioning it. The lift here is no greater than a sheet of two of paper.
  14. I can now post this. I've checked and it should cost around £40 with UPS or Royal Mail (uninsured). Insurance will be more.
  15. People are cowards and they don’t want to deliver bad news in person. It’s easier to make up an excuse.
  16. Yes, agree with everything. These are wonderful instruments and this is a really excellent price.
  17. I had a previous iteration of this and it was a wonderful instrument for the price (or any price). Looked good and sounded great, I just had no need for a short scale.
  18. This isn’t true. It’s convenient for the media to con us into thinking Europe hates us, but it’s not true. More bings us together than keeps us apart!
  19. Oh, and the likelihood is the U.K. will host it next year unless the war is over. Apparently the U.K. is seen as leading the support for Ukraine globally and certainly in Europe. and we’re hugely popular there for what we’re doing. I have no wish to make this political, but it appears we’re recalibrating our relationship with Europe post-Brexit and it’s perhaps not as bad as many of us had thought.
  20. I think this punctures the view that the U.K. is hated around Europe and we’ll never win because “it’s all political”. The guy from us seemed to love the whole spectacle and while he put in a top effort didn’t take himself too seriously. Any other year he would have won. Was a great show and I thought the Ukrainian entry was one of the weakest out there.
