  1. Make of this what you will: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F382376747528
  2. There are a few on eBay and gumtree for reasonable prices at the moment.
  3. Great news, thanks a lot!
  4. No idea
  5. Cream pearl would look delicious on that!
  6. I’m going make a hopeful guess that it’s some form of 12” or 15” FRFR monitor?
  7. @SmoothHoundChris, spill the beans!
  8. New product, you say? Fill us in.
  9. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of these for sale in the UK... https://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/product/160926302517008-469423--sandberg-california-ii-umbo-bass-metallic-red-26961
  10. I’ve just acquired a ticket for the London Bass Guitar Show and for a brief moment thought, “OMG, I think Schecter will have a stand at the show. I’ll get to try one of these Model Ts out!” ...having done some basic research, Schecter are unfortunately not going to be at the show rats.
  11. I’ve got one of these stage bugs and can confirm that they’re great. Completely passive and tiny.
  12. Alex (Jock) is indeed a gentleman. You’ve just made me and @milford59 very happy!
  13. @intime-nick that looks great!
  14. You should be able to get one for around the £200 mark, +/- a tenner or two.
  15. It completely depends on what flavour you go for. You have 3 main choices with the Kingstons currently in production - The Z - loaded with soapbar humbuckers. Complete with pretty wood covers. A Bartolini upgrade pack is available to bring the pickups and preamp up to the spec of MTDs USA handmade basses. The Super - dual MusicMan style humbuckers with 3 way coil switching. Each pup can be switched between series humbucking/parallel humbucking/single coil mode. The Saratoga - noiseless Jazz pups, active/passive switching with a dedicated passive tone control, 34” scale instead of the usual 35” and a different body style. On the used market you can also find older discontinued models such as the Heir (single coil Jazz pup in the neck, MM humbucker at the bridge) and Artist (as above but without the Jazz pup). To be fair, you pretty much can’t go wrong with any of the models in the Kingston range. When you get to Bass Direct be sure to play a few of them - they have quite a unique feel due to their asymmetric necks. After playing one for a while it just “made sense” in my hand.
  16. Yep, that’s the one!
  17. Noooo. That’s the Andrew Gouché Signature. Lovely but not what I was referring to. Give me a second and I’ll find the link...
  18. Theres a lovely trans red one, same model, a few pages further back. It’s more expensive but worth it for the added beauty. I’m frankly surprised it’s hung around so long. I nearly bought it myself a while back...
  19. Ha - good luck! In the meantime, check out their website and think of it as “bass foreplay”
  20. Even if you walk away having bought nothing, Bass Direct is a religious experience. So many amazing instruments hanging off every surface. Do it.
  21. ...and you can buy both for a little over a grand!
  22. I wouldn’t mind this pair sitting on my bass rack:
