    I picked this up to carry a non rackmount preamp I have bought. It does not fit. Gutted It is to all intents and purposes a 12" vinyl sized proper aluminium flight case (as long as you do not mind slicing the top inch of your vinyl off). £52 to your door. It is a neat box but 5mm too small for me. Sadness Obv, top phone pics

    Dave sold me a Hipshot DB xtender. I had no idea such a thing existed, but I had always fancied something similar. It was easier than an easy thing.

    NS strings=eub tone. Proper DB strings = closer to DB tone. Raise action = even closer to DB tone

    The strings are certainly different and not for everyone. I love them but can see why people would not. When they are new then yes there are tuning issues, but these stabilise over the initial weeks.
