  1. I love it. It does what I had always hoped I would find in a synth pedal. Some adjustment for some patches, but it is a new instrument so I would expect to adjust, like any pedal really. I have to adjust when using my OC2. I have to adjust using a Boss Slicer. But that is fine.
  2. Thanks for the directions. It looks like my friend who was saving up for re-shells has timed it rather poorly

  4. Yeah yeah yeah - tuners, string anchors, blah blah blah. SHOW US THE WOOD!
  5. Where re-shells UE900s?

    Curved Capo

So as to provide closure to my original request I worked that I could go into alternate tunings on the DB to create the harmonic structures I was looking for and therefore the capo became redundant. It was fun while it lasted though!
  7. It turns out that I did need the Demeter.
  8. I just bought a Demeter preamp from yur man Chris 10 minutes ago. He will post it mid week. We all know it will be fine
  9. You have to respect a guy who has just plowed his own furrow when commercial success was obviously in a different direction.
  10. It is a very simple glue job. Packing it securely will cost more than getting it glued. The only extra expense will happen when the luthier asks if you want the board trued, a new bridge and soundpost.
  11. No it is not! I found a 2nd hand one and mistook the price for a new one.
  12. Thanks all, I will go and look at the Ventris, but it is the same price as the big sky Financial sadness.
  13. It is just one setting on the Neunaber and a bowed Double Bass doing harmonics. You load all their different pedals in to the slate so I am not sure which it is tbh. I will have a look.
  14. Here is the sustain thing happening.
  15. I really fancy the chorale noises the Big Sky makes. And the shimmer stuff. I have a Neunaber set up which does a lovely shimmer thing and a really great kind of infinite reverb thing. I will post an example of that in a moment. Superlong tails that can be left running while the effect is out of line. See next post for example. Can I get this chorale kind of effect on a unit that does not cost the wrong side of 400 quid? I could flog the Nunaber set up (slate 2 + exp) to offset cost but that also has a useful freeze function for sustaining notes. Humph
  16. Am I the only one thinking all these should go up on a dedicated soundcloud page?
  17. If you like Eden cabs and don't mind the weight then you can get VERY capable boxes for not much money. When I was young enough to not worry about weight I ran an Eden 410xlt driven by Chevin Audio A3000 bridged into it. Obviously never at full tilt, but it was a fearsome combination. Power corrupts but massive power gives you fabulous headroom.

    Ukulele Bass

I went from Kala to a HB and was disappointed. The law of dimishing returns certainly exists in this equation. I was dissapointed enough to buy my Kala back. But I have form in that aspect of things.
