By sheer coincidence I was out at a gig last night and saw a bass player with a pretty interesting pedal board so I invited him to come down. Turns out he's a member on here too - welcome Dangerboy! And Mr Pablo, it would be great to have you down, I've always wanted to try the Sansamp and I see you're about to nab the Ashdown J-Lo in the classifieds too!
I just bought my sansamp from Dangerboy a few weeks ago Yeh I've went for the J-Lo out of curiosity more than anything so I'll have that down with me as well, there is every chance my band will be using the studio mentioned in Balham at some point in the week i'm down if not all the week cause we've got a gig on the 17th or 18th (not confirmed which one yet)
  2. Depending on the date I'm down in Balham from probably the 10th till the 18th May and if it works with my plans I'll be able to attend and bring: mojohand cream pie guyatone 8band eq Dod fx 62 bass stereo chorus (formerly Ahpooks) SanAmp Programmable BDDI and either a BBE optocomp or an EH soul preacher (whatever one i buy) Oh and my MIJ precision with Wizard Thumper pup will be down with me as well

  5.
Yeah the Boss GEB-7 is really good and is bass specific. And as it's Boss it's built like a Brick Sh1t House! I've got one and it's really useful, it has a 7 band eq and a level!
Its not true bypass though is it I've a guyatone ps-026 8band bass eq not true bypass but pretty good, my p bass still sounds to my lugs no different when bypassed

  10.
very uinterested Quick q. Can you have the Red and blue channels on together? do they have seperate outputs? or just one summed output? Ta.
The red and blue channels are seperate as the unit was designed for use with 2 separate basses although you can set it up with an a/b swithch so you could still have the use of both channels with 1 bass, it has the one output on the back

If not: http://www.ariaguitars.com/int/03_products..._stb_exo_4.html http://www.ariaguitars.com/int/03_products...b_stb_gt_4.html Jon.
The 2nd one looks pretty sweet so no i dont think it has to say fender on it

    Pups
I hear wizard pups are about midrange more so than thud, Seymour duncans are all about highs and lows, plenty of thud in them
I dunno about the wizards being all midrange IMO my thumper puts out a belting amount of low end with realy growly (if thats the right term) midrange but yeh +1 on Wizards, Andy can custom wind any of his Pups to your specs as well as rewind your existing pup. God I sound like a salesman for him a bit don't I
