Drive pedal has arrived now!

Mate, I went from a classic to a metro16 now I am thinking of going up again, or I may have a lead on a second hand nano + and run 2 together!

Cam Had a quick play for an hour or so. It’s great mate, it does what it says on the tin, it blends the sounds beautifully So the centre point of the HPF/LPF dials are 450hz and the cut offs are 3HZ (fully left) and 20HZ fully right. There is a phase switch to set the phase of the high pass, a mix so how much of each signal and a level of 14db boost and a mix dial, so how much of each signal Crystal clear transparency for the bass signal as well as each signal independently, and mix how you want, it really is very good so far. Can’t wait for my new dirt pedal to use for it! Just as I tried to shrink my board.....

Focusrite 18i8 It’s teally good and has a headphone jack It’s brilliant Just not used it for silent practice yet aside for recording

Hmmm dunno But what with a xenys 502, PJB bass cub, Hartke HD25 and an iRigHD, or USB Audio interface I reckon I have silent practice covered! Aside from a combo/head with aux in the xenys is such a good option as MP3, bass, guitar, mic can all go in May revisit the USB audio interface for silent practice actually, it will give a great sound with its preamps

It’s because when I tell you stuff I rabbit on too much and you forget to sift through the chaff! I’ve always liked it, shame no aux in though

In my recent splurge looking at creating a fat overdriven sound I came across this as a blending pedal you should check this new one out http://kma-machines.com/m_tyler.html http://youtu.be/myS94LW6lNY (The drive pedal at 1.36 mins used for demo is the one i am getting) Made by this guy in Germany and here is the info page on the pedal, you be able to access the other stuff he does via the rest of the website on the link above. There is a really nice video of his operation on there, seems he has a genuine love for his art. It’s transparent and basically 2 FX loops one HPF and one LPF so you can merge your drive with a modulator and have all the low end in the world, I suppose it’s a LS-2 on steroids with a bit more flexibility. I was really impressed, again great quick answers and the no Quibble 14 day return and 5 year warranty. I pulled the trigger again (the other being the Demon Pedals Parvati in the previous new topic) I have 2 pedals I would love to combine with what I already have. Watch this space!

It’s got a switch to choose either silicone,Germanium or no clipping. I think the voicing sounds tight and focussed with the low end really hanging through. First drive pedal I have been excited for for a while. Also 14 day no quibble return for a full refund, 5 year warranty. In addition when I contacted them on their Facebook page I got an answer within 20 mins and it was 10pm. They seem genuine guys. I pulled the trigger and it’s coming soon I’ll let you guys know what the deal is!

You are gonna get a load of responses here, and I am a big fan of the Barefaced Supertwin. I really suggest you email Alex Claber at Barefaced telling him what you want, you cannprob arrange a phone call and he will ask you your requirements, be warned it is a stern examination of what gear you have, what you want your sound to be like and venues you play etc. And he will come out with a good recommendation of the appropriate cab, he’s genuinely pretty spot on
