1. Done this song successfully with either an EBS Unichorus, on the flanger setting. Or a Boss BF2 flanger. The Unichorus has the added advantage of having a chorus as well, and being able to mix both effects. Nige
  2.
also people have been saying the line out is very hot, is this the kind of attenuator people are talking about? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...em=180701336916
Yep, that's the one... The other trick is to change the preamp valves from 12AX7 to 12AT7's or something less gainy. Apparently it reduces the "hotness" of the DI output as well. Nige
  3. I'm using the OTB 500 through an SP210 and an OBC115 and not had any problems so far

    Feedback for uke

Sold Uke a pair of valves. Payment turned up quickly. Seamless deal. Cheers mate Nige
  9. Failing music shops, try self storage places. If you don't mind paying for the boxes, they quite often sell decent quality boxes in varying sizes.
  10. I had one of these. Well worth putting in a pre-amp into!!! I picked up an MEC circuit cheaply and put that in. Nice
  11.
You don't get left handed pianos..
Yes you can................ http://lefthandedpiano.co.uk/about.html Now..... left handed flutes. There's a problem that cost me an arm and a leg!!!
  12.
IMO that's a bit steep given a second hand proper Sandberg isn't that much more, compared to a s/h actual overwater which is significantly more than their tanglewood version. Will be some competition for these, which I think is good. Glad other, smaller manufacturers are doing this. Gibson and Fender have had Epi and Squier for years, Warwick have had Rockbass for a while, nice to see other manufacturers doing the same. Just trying to think who else I'd like to see this from.
How about Alembic?
  13.
I've come across 3 Japanese "prog" bands in the past few weeks that I'm finding completely inspiring, and couldn't go without recommending to somebody. If anyone has any further Japanese progressive oddness to share, please go ahead and post them mouse on the keys - maybe not so much prog, but just brilliant, hear for yourself... ruins - chaotic duo of bass and drums (prog rock medley, see how much songs you can guess. there's 39...) kenso - no one song from them could do them any justice. check out the related links on YT for more.
I accidentally pressed play on all of the first three, so they played all at once. Sounds great!!!!
  14. Is this really worth the asking price of $2k. Just looks like a recent Hardpuncher to me!!! http://cgi.ebay.com/TOKAI-P-BASS-APB-57-LE...=item4aacd5718a Cheers
  15.
Interesting, sounds a lot like the Overwater/Tanglewood team up. Are there any pics yet ?
From the Cort website... http://www.cortguitars.com/_webapp_3915601/Arona_4 Looks like a Sandberg Basic with a Cort headstock!!!
