1. Another Sandberg fanboy here...... had mine for a while, but not quite vintage yet!!
2. How about putting an ad on Gumtree for the Birmingham area asking for people of your skill level to jam with? Rehearsal studios and music shops usually have notice boards with muso wanted ads as well. Oh yeah........ hugs
3.
I found that the amp has amazing power but lacks tonally. Just my opinion.
Pete, they were never known for their tonal versatitlity That's part of the appeal for me, less tinkering when I found my sound.
4. Could be up for it for a couple of hours.. what stuff we need Ian?
5. Apart from the re-fin, EMG's and Hipshot, looks original. I bet the price will rocket in the last couple of hours, though!!
6. I've got a couple of Ashdown 2 x10's stacked vertically in the studio and they sound great. Never noticed a loss of low end either.
7. Welcome to the Thumb club..... although mine was made by John Diggins
8. I can see me playing that left handed.... it'd look better!!!

10. Have a listen to Shebrew.. mates' band, so an unashamed plug, as they are rather good
11. Ask them to cover expenses at least, food, drink, petrol etc at least. If not, tell them to go hang.
12. Head above parapet..... welcome from a brummie
13. Welcome aboard, old bean
14. Not used one of these.... BUT, my Orange Terror Bass came with 12ax7's in the preamp, and changed them because they had too much gain. Not sure what the valve in the EBS is as stock.
15.
You talking about the Sprinter? That's German, surely. Or maybe they are just words of wisdom based on your own experience? I blame lack of meat. A carnivore would never have done that Had a series of French vans in a band in the mid 90's all went FUBAR in a very expensive way.......
16. Sam Cooke http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i98_Lqcryp8
17. Mate of mine is auditioning today. Fingers crossed
18. Orange Terror Bass and an SP210 cab, now there's old skool
19. Seems like a good bundle. If the head runs down to 4 ohms, you can add a second 8 ohm cab to bring the impedance down to 4 ohms, so you can run the head at full whack. I've been using the 450w version of that head at rehearsals, and they need a bit of work to get into and find the sounds, what with the built in amp and fx sims. Once you get there, nice heads.
20.
Is it that you're looking for? : http://www.zikinf.co...?annonce=749356 As far as i konw the fingerboard have been changed Hope this helps
Thanks, but that's an original Roadstar. The one I want is from the eighties onwards, with a more ergonomic body shape and slimmer headstock. Cheers
