    I take the advice of the manufacture and stick to it. If something goes wrong, which it hasn't so far, then there will be recourse.

    I do enjoy a good moan. The Danelectro Longhorn is an abomination. Gibson SG's machine heads make it look jug eared and unbalanced. I hate to be sweepingly general, but most basses with anything over 6 strings, look ungainly. Most BC Rich and Dean Metalman's. Moan groan, etc. I just like simple, subtle, good design.

    Ah, The Tyne. Lovely bar. I would go, but I will be setting off to practice at 4, which happens to be about 600 metres from that very pub. You will no doubt be able to hear us.

    I have a hand made cab i pick up from a fellow on here. It has an 18" Fane Classic 200watts at 8ohms. Its from the 80's. Forget the figures, it is LOUD and has an excellent sound.

    That is (must be) a copy. The strings from the machine heads to the nut should be straight and parallel with each other. The top horn goes no higher than the 13th fret and it should stop at the 12th. The dip at the highest nob, is totally wrong. There is no logo on the bridge. The knobs look cheap, etc. Its a MoosicMoon Bingo.
