1. cheers tom, ill check my balance today and drop you a message when i get back from work this evening
2. Well, if you're ok to wait (hopefully no more than 48hrs, then i'll definitely take the muff off you) - I get paid officially on wednesday, but some payment usually comes through tomorrow. Cheers Theo
3. not maaasively as I cant think of much in that pricerange that I havent already owned (and sold) before, but what were you thinking? I'm always open to suggestions.
4. yeah its still knocking about, drop me a PM if you fancy it
5. im suprised to be selling it really, but i managed to blow a months wages in about a week so im in desprate need of cash - I was using this to bridge my standard and synthy fuzz sounds, which it does great, but I prefer the Musket for 'standard' fuzz and am using a Mastotron for my synthy, gated fuzz. so the Colorsound and the Fatman have to go. By the way, lovng Naisian - if you guys need some support london way, my band Straight Circle would be up for it - I think we'd go well together - you guys are heavier though
6. Potentially I'd like to come, and I dont live too far away. However I havent seen my girlfriend in a couple of weeks so I think I might have to see her (or convince her to come along). If coming, I shall bring: Late 80s MIJ Fender P-bass with added J-pup Markbass LMII Zoot 210 Zoot 115 SFX X&M pedal crossover Colorsound Bass Fuzz Blackout Effectors Musket V2 Boss RE-20 Space Echo EHX Pog II OLC Flipster Ampeg Sub Blaster Crowther Prunes & Custard
7. LOL, its still half full - as is the chocolate and mint one and they've been left there for a week now :S
8. Got some pedals for sale, I'm having a fuzz/Distortion shootout and a have to move some things on now. 3XFX Fatman Distortion (V1 - New Verson) - I've owned both the original V2 (which had an oscilator) and this new version that is without the oscilator but does have a Tone control, Noisegate switch AND an internal trimpot to blend in clean tone!! - this is a truly brutal distortion that is pretty much new (I bout it brand new from the states about a month ago) - £115 inc UK postage Boss OS2 Overdrive/Distortion - not for bass, but great for grunge sounds on guitar - SOLD Boss Powersupply & Master Switch - £20 inc UK postage
9. I bought a modded black Fender P-bass - Col is great to deal with, great communications and very friendly, highly trustworthy guy. thanks Theo
10. I cant believe no one has mentioned the Guv'nor (original or reissue) - its actually pretty good on bass, and can be had for dirt cheap used.
11. I think I might be able to get this, I actually work in MK and could meet you in town on my lunch - sending PM now
12. Hi, If this hasnt gone, I might be interrested
13.
Their shop - its called Stompbox -and is in Northwood Hills, is walking distance form my place. I must go over and try one. BTW Basschatter BigJim works in the shop too.
Richard is on BC as well - i think as MindGoneBlank - I could be wrong though. They're great guys, I might hook up with them on my next day off/free saturday Definitely gonna give the MXR a go, I've currently got a boomstick bottom feeder, but I think something a bit more tweakable would be more up my street.
14. Analog with great tracking - I've had good experience with the OC2 and Bass Octave Deluxe, however for analog *beat the f!%k out of your speaker* octaving with great tracking, my Ampeg Sub-Blaster slays all. I believe the OC3 is digital but without any of the advantages of the pog/hog series ie: 'tracks' whatever you feed it. and the POGs will track whatever you want, but sometimes it does sound a bit fake. I'm currently rocking the POGII (8 presets, 2 octaves up and down, attack delay, chorus - I use it for alot of different sounds), Ampeg Sub Blaster (for *traditional* octaving) and an OC2 (for synth-bass sounds)
15. this looks amazing, and Stu Brooks is an absolute don. Any word on release date? I wanna grab one of these right now
16. goddamn, I just ordered one of these the other day directly from max!! I'm still waiting for him to confirm my order! If anything has gone amiss there, I'll jump on this. Theo
17. I can say first hand that this bass is great, the colour wasnt really for me, but the tone is great, the neck is immensely playable and its a great bass for most styles
