1. Hey, well I dont think I tried the MicroFuzz itself with an active bass, but I have used my Colorsound Bass Fuzz with an active alot and it doesnt seem to care what you throw at it, and the Microfuzz is like the Colorsound, Only better....I cant forsee any problems with active basses.
2. sorry dude, really just looking for the money a the mo, and plus I already have a 210 and 115.
3. Micro Fuzz SOLD to Dan. I think me and dan need to set up some kinda 'pedal pool' - we buy enough of eachothers stuff (shame i missed out on his warmouth eb3 with darkstars - that was a thing of beauty)
4. Unfortunately I have to sell some of my pedals, to make money for more pedals! my [SFX] Micro Fuzz - Sold Boomstick Audio Bottom Feeder (bass-modded DOD 440 Clone) - a wicked envelope filter- burpy and funky without being too funky. I play in a grunge band, and this is the only filter I never felt like a dick using with them. - would like £60 inc UK postage EXH Nano Holy Grail Reverb -SOLD I've also got a Di Pinto Belvedere Deluxe (offers around £400) and a Tokai Thunderbird (Black) (offers around £200) that I could to with getting rid of too. Paypal only please
5. Hey, Sorry, nice cab but im not looking for trades...cash only (bought a new guitar last night).
6. Hey, so i bought this thunderbird on BC really recently. It is everything I expected and more: thick, raunchy, punchy tone, Iconic looks...just generally a beast of a machine. But my new P+J and J+P basses have taken over and I just love them more. First thing I did was move the upper strap peg to the back of the neck/body - as the Tokai's have a set neck (UNLIKE the Epiphones bolt-on) this was easy enough to do and has largely eliminated the famous Thunderbird neck dive. The bass was sold to me with the 'clip in/slide on' strap pegs, fortunately this is what I also use. Unfortunately I dont have any replacements to hand so you'll have to source them yourselves. There are a few cosmetic things that I should mention that are visible in the photos below: 1. one of the control knobs has a small triangle of plastic broken off. 2. Where I previously installed a chrome bridge cover, there are holes left over. 3. Where I have moved the top strap peg to the back of the neck, there is a hole where the peg used to be. 2 and 3 are nothing a small amount of wood filler and paint wouldnt disguise. The bass it self is in ok condition but does have a few little scuffs and scrapes, nothing too deep and also comes with its own fitting softcase. I'm looking for £185 Including UK Postage Payment via paypal or cash on collection can be arranged (I live near junction 18 of the M25) due to work constraints - postage will take place the saturday after the bass sells, unless I have a day off, or if I can arrange someone to go down to the post office for me.
7. hey, I managed to find a review of it, but not the true details of how it works: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...mp;#entry224852
8. I'll be honest, I dont know how exactly it works. As far as I understand, it just converts the Impedance of the receiving signal from high (general impedance of an active bass) to low ( as with passive basses) or maybe its Low to high. I'm not sure on the tech aspects really. It doesnt affect the output volume. Sorry I really wish I could be more help. I'll see if i can get the details that Toasted (who built it) told me.
That passive thing is an interesting thing... My deep impact + WM hate my stingray. Alot. How does it work?
9.
Hey cool; someone else named theo! I've never physically met anyone in my 23 years on this planet with my name. We'll have to meet up
LOL - funilly enough i've got a mate called Theo too! although he's theodore and im theodosi. im named after my Grandad, as our two of my cousins, so we've all got exactly the same first and surname. It can get pretty confusing at big family occasions.

12. TBH there isnt much that i need - even if i still sell all three basses i'll still have the Deluxe version of the Jazz bass im selling, as well as a modded 70s RI Jazz bass, so im happy with my basses and i've got too many pedals as it is. If you have something interresting, dont hestitate to suggest it.
