1. Hi I sent a PM regarding the bottom feeder - is it still available, if so I would absolutely love it
2. Mark bought my Pedaltrain II, painless transaction, excellent communication. thanks for the easy transaction.
3. Sorry, this bass sold months ago
4. The dimensons of the PT2 HC are as follows: the Board: approx. 61cm by 32cm with a rise at the rear end of approx. 3.5cm The Case: approx. 65cm by 45cm with a height of approx. 20cm Also, i managed to eradicate the gluey residue left by the pedaltrain logo using some low strength paint solvent (its not affected the paintwork at all, but has cleared all the residue off - you should be able to see in the photos) also the PT2 board isnt the one that comes with pre-drilled holes for a Pedalpower II or anything like that.
5. This is still for sale and the price has been dropped to £120 inc UK postage. Will accept a swap for a PT Pro SC.
6. Up for grabs is my Pedaltrain 2 HC (Hard Case). Its a Deluxe Pedalboard in excellent condition with a heavy duty flightcase that you can padlock shut. The board itself comes velcro'd and the previous owner has done his best to get the 'pedaltrain' sticker off, but some residue remains. The previous owner has kept it in mint condition and it never left the house. I bought it only yesterday, however i really need a bigger board to fit all my fx on, so might have to go for the PTpro. The retail on this is around £200 Postage is going to be fair amount, as the flightcase is has a reassuring weight behind it (the sort of 'oh sh*t I just dropped my pedalboard out the window - oh its ok theres not a mark on it - weight) so i'm asking for £120 including the UK POSTAGE. payment via paypal only. Any questions feel free to ask. **PLEASE NOTE THE PEDALS ARE NOT FOR SALE AND ARE PURELY FOR ILLUSTRATIVE PURPOSES ONLY!!**
7. thanks for the comments everyone - only the mastotron left now!
8. hey AJ cheers for the free bump, I'm genuinely suprised that the Maxon is still here. only a few places seem to sell them in the UK and new they're like £200, am I doing something wrong? I still love the mastotron - I actualy blend it with clean tone normally, not because it looses any lows but I just like the blended sound with it. I can now get *close enough* with my Colorsound Bass Fuzz (my go-to fuzz) so im getting rid of most of the 'non-essentials'. The only things that cant go on my gig board (due to size) are my OC2, Crowther Prunes and Custard and Boss LS2 - but they're keepers (and make a sweet setup when combined)
9.
Does the Octron work with bass? It seems to be very much a geetar-type pedal.
yeah it works great with bass, and the internal trim pots can really vary the tone of the pedal. Like most/all analog octave pedals it is monophonic and obviously dont expect the same tracking you'd get with the Micro Pog, might do some clips in the next couple of days. Theo
10. I will happily take this off your hands this week (I get paid wednesday/thursday) if its still available

12. yep, just counted 'em - 22 frets. Took the flats I had on off (and put them on my DiPinto) and put some old rounds on there. I've just had a quote for £300 for a p-bass pickup to be added to me 70s RI jazz. Not sure whether to go with it or just buy a p-bass and add my 70s RI neck. truly i might accept offers/PX for a passive P/PJ - but i just plugged the DLX in and its sounding pretty sweet so im even more reluctant to sell it now. *might* consider selling the 70s RI or my DiPinto, but thats pretty unlikely as the Di Pinto (hollowboddied Belevedere Deluxe with Flats) is so totally different to the other two basses and makes the most sense keeping and I love my 70s RI. If anyone's actually interrested let me know, but as i said, the dlx does have a few issues and this still remains a feeler and im not decided on selling it, and if it did it would be against the better judgement of friends and family. I've also now taken some of the gloss off the back of the neck with a light sandpapering - it feels nicer to me now and the dings arent as noticable now. Heres some pics of the new ding - As you can see i've taken the strap knob off at the moment and only have 3 rounds on there at the moment but have just got a new pack of rotosounds that im putting on there.
13. thanks karl, This was my first real bass, i had a knackered old SD Curlee that i bought to learn on, but as soon as i got this i kicked it to the curb. Its a very hi-fi sounding bass to my ears, which is why i now also have a 70s RI. I panic with actives alot. Is the battery running out? is the imedance gonna make my effects sound like ass? My ideal bass would be a jazz bass with a p-bass pickup between j-pups and a switch to go from Jazz to Precision and a tone control. No batteries, no EQ, no series/parrallel. pretty much the Fender Urge II without the eq. the jazz has been with me prettymuch since i started playing, so it has quite a lot of sentimental value even if it doesnt get the love it deserves these days
14.
Shame about the gap between scratchplate and bell plate.
its not a gap by the way, its the white of the ply scratchplate, not the white of the body
15. well thats a tough thing to say - its now had quite a big chip of the paint taken off the upper horn when my empty metal CD rack fell on in (my fault for not keeping it in a hard case) Its had its fair share of dings and the input jack can be a little temperamental. However the current closest model at the moment seems to be the American Deluxe Jazz bass (which is what this model became a year or two after this bass was made) which'd set you back over a grand (brand new) and this has some features that some may feel are better than ones on the current models (ie: suhr pickups) and some that people might feel arent as good (the body has tops and backs to cover the less beautiful wood that comprises the majority of the bass, the American Deluxe series uses solid wood rather than tops). I've got GAS for either a passive Pbass, passive P/J or someone who'll professionally install a P-pickup in my MIM 70sRI jazz (my gigging bass) cashwise, i wouldnt even know where to start. Consensus seems to be that i'd regret it if i sold it. if someone could give me around the £700 mark then i'd probably be happy, but realsistically i dont think anyone will and im not dying to sell it.
16.
Well I've been wanting to check the sub-lime out so I'll take it!
Nice one Dan, I'll get the pedal out tommorrow. I figure I can buy it again WHEN I get gas for it......... again.
17. Sorry dude, nothing im really looking for but thanks for the offer. I got an Octron recently, its pretty cool. the problem is trade-wise that there isnt that much that gets me excited anymore/ I've got my fuzz needs well and truly covered (my go-to is my Colorsound Bass Fuzz, I also have a green muff and a black one, as well as a Fender Sub-Lime and a zvex mastotron) i've got OD covered (OLC Flipster), got octavers (OC3 on the way, got an octron and POGII), modulation (HBE Psilocybe), Delay/Reverb (Boss re20 space echo pedal) and preamp (vtbass).
18. well im kinda looking for the money really, and god only knows what I'd want in trade = throw something my way and i'll let you know
