  1. "you won't get paid but it will be good exposure"
  2. The worst depiction of musicians in films, has to be KISS in Phantom of the Park, and they were playing themselves! 🤣
  3. So he doesn't miss last orders! 😆
  4. At a Bass Show, I asked Peter Hook, how he felt about being portrayed in films. He said he was surprised how wrong Ralph Little got it, bearing in mind he knew his ex-wife 😆
  5. There is no new music. There are no new harmonies, tonalities, or rhythmic devices. That aside, in terms of 'popular music', there was music released in 1969 that would not be mistaken for music released in 1959; there was music released in 1979 that would not be mistaken for music released in 1969; and there was music released in 1989 that would not be mistaken for music released in 1979. IMO we can not say the same for 2010/2000 and 2020/2010. Has there been anything new in popular music in over 20 years?
  6. More Jazz Club, including an interjection of Indie Club 😳 😆

  11. The singer looks like Cyril Smith 😳
  12. That's the benefit of hindsight, at the time it was neither clichéd, nor 80's rock.
  13. one either side of the drum kit!
  14. Got: Tele LP Flying V Strat type - HB's Semi acoustic. Preference? Live, depends on the gig. Studio/recording, the Tele.
  15. Nothing new. Back in the 80's Sigue Sigue Sputnik sold the space between the songs on their album.
  16. Samson Resolv 65a active studio monitors, and Zoom TAC 2R Thunderbolt Audio Converter.
  17. Hi all! I need a bit of advice on audio connections. The outs on my audio converter are 1/4" jack. The ins on my (powered) studio monitors are 1/4 jack & RCA. Does it matter which I use? So either, jack to jack lead (would a short guitar lead do?), or jack to RCA? Cheers!
  18. Because there are only 2 USB ports. I'm using one for the mouse and the other for the midi keyboard.
  19. i could have justified the Macbook by saying I need a back-up laptop as I'm working from home. But I've got no excuse for the Zoom! 😆
  20. I'm guessing 'studio' gear is included? If so I'm well out. I bought an old Macbook Pro and a Zoom interface just so I can use Garageband.
  21. Have you tried turning it off, then turning it on again? 😜
