2. Ive had both head's and could'nt tell much difference between them, other than this one seems louder.
3. Richard it weigh's 20kg's unpacked, if they want the size it's about 600x300x200 high.
4.
Hi How much to ship to NG318RN Thanks Rich
I'll get a quote or you could arange a courier to pick up from me at tr20 9sj.
5. Why not buy my old peavey head for £70 and use a sansamp with it.
6. To be totally honest im not sure if this is the guitar version of the bass head, but have used it no problem's with a bass. There's a lot of info on the net about these head's. It say's 400 on the front, but the inputs on the back say 300 at 2ohm's and 210 at 4ohm's ( but also states 800 watts near the voltage output) ive only used it with two 8 ohm cab's giving me 4 ohms, but have never had to run it past 4 on the volume's in any gig situation . Normally plug into the input that gives the selection of both channel's together. This amp is incredibly loud and solid, vinyl in good nick, small piece missing of the vent grill on top and corner'c could do with a coat of paint. £70 plus postage
7. would say balance wise it's like any other jazz bass.
8. I added the fender decal, because there was'nt one on it when i got it. If prose did a logo it would have one of his. It is a lovely bass to play with great sustain. Sound wise it sound's like a jazz with oomph, the rear pick up has a pull switch so it can be a single pick up or a humbucker.
9.
I wouldn't mind knowing the weight either.... Willing to post?
Yes i'd be willing to post in a case for an added £20 plus postage. Weight is 9.5 lb's
10.
ah i see - so whats the spec do you know? it looks a cool bass thanks
To be honest i dont know the spec's of the body other than paul had the neck made to his spec's, it is a very fast jazz neck with a body with good sustain.
11. Have decided to get rid of my prose jazz bass, as ive hardly used it since changing the pick up's etc. fitted with emg J/MM active pick ups, battery compartment on the rear of the bass. Body has a few shrink marks on the paint. Looking for £250 ono. Please note this is a jazz bass made by prose, with fender decal's. Have now added new pic, as i realised it was an old pic .
12.
random question does anyone know what rig the bassist from queens of the stone age uses? as i saw him playing a epi jack cassidy! and im in love with the tone! andy
Look's like two valve head's and two 8x10's i would guess, Could be ampeg and orange ? 13. Yes it was, but i found two black widow's in a cab a little too much. A 1x15 and 2x10 suits me more.
14. Heres my head, think its a duel purpose guitar/bass head. Plus my current early 90's head
