Thats answered a few question's and caused a few arguements as well Have had a jazz with a MM emg in the bridge position but it didnt really give that sound, so the pre amp does help also. Had a MM but found the neck to wide, so i wont be getting a MM in the forseable future.

Im guessing as both have a humbucker type pick up, it would involve fitting a prea amp of some sort . Anyone had any success ?

Well guessed moonbassalpha, fitted the speaker's in a hurry to get to a gig the other week. All now sealed up

They had an article in a mid 90's bass player magazine on the ernie ball factory, taking you through the production of a stingray. The body is made from two half's and the best grain's/ matched pair's were used for the natural finish basses. At a push after you've stripped it and the half's dont match or the grain's not great you could alway's do it a lighter colour.

Recently replaced my struggling blue speaker's in my ashdown abm 2x10 with a pair of celestion neo's, the weight saving alone was worth it. But im finding theres a slight buzz coming from the speakers (sounding blown ) the input jack's are mainly plastic. Worth cleaning them or replacing with something better ?

Really loving the look of this bass, only concern is the width of the neck.

Had a 4 string surveyor, great bass to play. Good variety of sound's, well made. But the look's didnt grow on me and took me ages to sell on here.
