  1. Yeah anyone from this parish don’t forget to drop by the stand, be good to put faces to usernames! We ( Andy and myself) will be on stand 33 with 12 basses and other bass paraphernalia so fill yer boots!
  2. Another beauty mate and in immaculate condition as always
  3. How it works, lots on internet 1. Buyer pays by PayPal and arranges for courier/friend/whatever to collect. 2. Item is collected. 3. Buyer contacts PayPal to open a dispute, claiming they never received the item. 4. PayPal sides with the buyer, as the only proof of receipt they will accept is tracked proof of delivery. 5. The scammer now has your item and his money refunded.
  4. Well they offer full price and don't just buy it now. They then message saying as @ead says in his post - If this item is still available send the invoice to email address is for example [email protected] and is signed Kate Wales ( never the same name to email in my experience. If you then engage in a dialog they reply with the usual scam thing: Thanks so much, I will be unable to physically pick up your payment because I work offshore, but after you have received it all, I will send a courier agent to do so. But as I've already said, I have no issue with the advertisement. I will pay you once you are ready, though, and dispatch my courier agent once you have received your money, as PayPal is the only payment option I have available at the moment. Please remove the advertisement as soon as you can. Please respond to me with the best time for collection, if you don't mind. In my experience they never pay but others who have fallen for it lose the money and item I believe due to PayPal refunding the fraudster
  5. Yeah I have had mixed interactions. It normally happens on something you have just listed, well thats my findings anyway
  6. Thats the giveaway, they offer the full asking price and don't 'buy it now' so they get the chance to email/message before paying. I get these fairly regular. I decline and send Reverb the link to chase up. They never do but I'll keep doing it with the hope someone actually does.
  7. Hmm I have always put hook ( scratchy) on my boards and the softer stuff on pedals. Lint free and no issues here. Also I think people who sell me pedals the other way around are plain evil 🤣
  8. that looks nice, I have a 78 in and it’s a beauty, they are heavy though.

  19. Yeah I’ve had a few, normally 70/71 P with an A ( Jazz nut ) neck. Best of both worlds 👌
  20. An outstanding bass and much, much better than the inferior Fender ones. The grey one I had made was a killer too, 79 Stingray pick up in that one. Wonder where that one is 🤔
  21. Up for sale a lovely Dingwall D-Roc standard in Matte Vintage Burst. This is a fantastic bass, well balanced and very cool look that is both modern and vintage at the same time. Blow switch installed which gives you bridge pickup straight out. It’s a convenient switch to quickly go between bridge all out and your other favourite setting on the bass. Its a lovely bass in great condition and comes with Dingwall padded dog bag and tools/paperwork etc... Don't let the slanty frets put you off, you really don't think about it after about 2 mins. Dingwall blurb - The D-Roc Standard is a player-driven instrument that sits on the rockier side of the tone tracks, but it’s far from a one-trick pony. With a 4-position Quad-tone rotary pickup selector that offers four distinct voicings, the D-Roc Standard will help you deliver your own sound to your audience in its purest possible form. Collect Hexham or can ship at buyers cost - my man with a van courier is £85 anywhere in the UK. Not looking for trades but welcome to try me.
