    Here're my weapons of choice: Trace Elliot AH1200 - Mesa 15" Diesel Wedge 400W/8Ohms, - Mesa 15" Diesel 400W/8Ohms , - Glockenklang Quattro 4x10" 800W/4Ohms + Engl Squeeze guitar tube amp (for emulated rhythm guitar signal via Akai Unibass + Mesa VTwin) Sounds tremendous with my Wals - drummers and guitarists beware

    English olive ash facings on that one. Don't know about varying pickup placements on MKIIs though - maybe Mike's was a custom configuration? But, seriously - you don't need it to be nearer the neck unless you want to start WW3 with it I just used the Wal for recordings - what a nuclear assault ...

    Price added ... Thanks a lot for the comments - yes this one is absolutely stunning and fantastic to play - I got it actually from lozbass who really took great care of it beforehand. Maybe littleal is in to buy it back? Would be cool I think. I would have kept it if I had not been able to get back my old 1987 Wal 5 (see pic - it's the refinished one if anyone remembers the gear porn thread ..) back for sentimental reasons.
