Tension in gauges 45-100 is a little higher than TIs and they feel a little tighter too but not by much. Smooth feel, I would say about the same as Sunbeams. Starts off with some roundwound zing but very quickly takes on flat characteristics. It's not a true flat sound but it has that sort of flatwound edge that a round would never have. Watch out for the installation instructions.

Thanks for the update. I suggest when you have a break to chat about whatever, when the guitarist kicks in, stop talking and you and the drummer just look at him until he finishes. Eventually he will stop and then resume the conversation. Repeat until guitarist get's the point, even if this means running out the rest of the rehearsal time.

I used to listen until I got fed up of the same thing everyday. Black Star Riders, Joe Bonamassa, Rush (shudder), Rock Stock Marrakech and My bloody Sharona.

Get a Fearless or Fearful. Cuts through and doesn't fall apart...

They might be the old Rotosound Spacer strings which are not made anymore.
