1. Due to ill health Im hanging up my bass gear. For cash on collection only as I have no box.... Ampeg Portaflex PF 112 HLF Bass Cabinet http://www.dv247.com...cabinet--230753 I bought it six months ago and it has never left my house. I paid £375, offered for a near mint example £250. Collection from Sandhurst in evening or Reading during the day.
2. Just to clarify.... ALL case candy, Certificate and the Bridge Pickup cover have never been used and are in mint condition. The case and candy are in a box and have never been used as I already had an old Fender case to transport the bass.
3. more pics...
4. It is with heavy heart I have to sell my Fender Custom Shop NOS '59 P Bass due to ill health. It was made in early 2013 and has only been used for studio rehearsals and home practice. A few marks, no dents or dings are on the body due to playing ( this is not a sit around and look at bass as it sounds so bl++dy good ) Strung with TI flats with a low action and no marks to the neck. This really is a players dream P bass. Cost me £2800 three years ago .... Will sell for £1500 cash or bank transfer. Buyer to collect from Sandhurst. The case and ALL case candy have not been touched so they are as good as the day it arrived. 5. I've used the Noll and Glockenklang preamps and find them very clean and hifi sounding. The treble pot has a very high range and will only effect the click of the strings, also the bass is low at around 40Hz if I can remember correctly. If you don't want this hifi sound you could try an East as the chosen frequencies effect the sound more.
6. Thumbs up from me as I used one for about a year on live gigs. Total blow away the crap DI boxes most live guys use. Does the audience notice ????? Probably not. I would still use one if I was actively gigging though.
7. I also thought you were fantastic. Well done.
8. Oh my... This is my favourite bass amp of all time. Loud enough for small gigs and had a wonderful thumping bass sound.... I really miss mine. Good luck with the sale.
9. Just noticed you use a PF-50T... its new on my GAS list.
10. Tricky one... I would go for the 19mm spacing to make switching basses easier.
11. I would personally line them up with the pickup pole pieces and have slightly off spacing. You will soon forget about the spacing as you play. I was always worrying about this type of thing as well . I now stop fussing and just play. This will free up your brain and your playing will improve. I totally sympathise as I've been through this as well as string height, width of nut, and pickup height. All I can say is set to your liking and play and enjoy your instrument. 😀😀😀

13. I'm so jealous.. I'm going for the poor man's version. PF-112 cab and a PF-50T amp. Got the cab just the amp to go. Congratulations 🎊 on getting the B-15n.
14. I settled on a set of Steve Harris flats in the end. http://www.rotosound...-signature-set/ They were not my first choice and when I first installed them I thought I had made a BIG mistake. They were very stiff and sounded 'wrong'... BUT after 3 months and some neck and pickup adjustments they sound HUGE. The tension is high and you need good finger strength to play them at speed. I use a pick and play in a folk / acoustic group with a Tic Tac sound that cuts through the acoustic guitars and vocals.
15. D'ADDARIO chrome strings cut for Fender P or Jazz. 40 - 100, one month old, nicely run in. £10 UK posted.
