  1. I read he also built the pyramids in Egypt 🤣 it was on a webpage so i can’t imagine it’s fake news.
  2. He actually built the homes himself?
  3. For me its New Years days - U2.
  4. All this talk of the Spark has made me realise how lacking the drive is in my EBS Microbass 3. Love the clean sound, and it can get a bit warm if pushed, but cant get the drive sounding as i want it. it’s warm, but loses clarity.
  5. Haha. Whenever im asked by customers what soft touch feels like, i tell them it’s like a nipple (obviously i chose who i say that too).
  6. Wouldn't the phone number already be on the card? We print 1000's of laminated cards every week. In fact ive never printed one without contact details on it. Still, if it's unlamented you could, as you say, still write on it. Agree about the stock though. 400gsm is perfect. Hate gloss lam with a passion. Looks cheap.
  7. Chat GTP is good at wording things like this.
  8. I print mine at work, doesnt cost me anything then 😇 Agree with BigRedX, the standards size is 85mm x 55mm as it's pretty much the same size as a credit card, so fits in a wallet better. We are finding more and more that people are using 88.9 x 50.8 instead. Not on purpose, but that a the default that some programs use and they dont bother to change it. Also if you are going to have a background printed or anything that goes right to the edge, it's better to set up a 3mm bleed on each side.
  9. Yeah, especially stereo. My wife (our singer) liked the Nux and it’s her birthday in a couple of weeks. We agreed i would get another set for her to try, but if its the same issue it will go back and she can borrow my Lekato’s when we gig. I only want these for the bands im playing bass with and she isnt in those. I even plugged the Nux in to my audio interface and played music through them. Awfully distorted. As with my Lekato WS-90 i can see these arent shielded well, but as long as we are carful it should be fine.
  10. Well, the Nux arrived and 5mins later it was packed up and ready to go back. The well reported buzz was more than a minor issue. I guess i was expecting to hear something in the background but it was quite pronounced. I know Nux state that these arent really for solo playing, which i suppose is there way of saying the sound isnt perfect, but compared to the Lekato its like night and day. They were used (from Amazon) so maybe faulty, but Im sticking with the Lekatos for now. After another go im used to the latency and it’s not a big deal. Wish there were alternatives in this form factor/price/freq band.
  11. Was this at Pirate studios 😎
  12. Probably better to go private from here on if that’s ok.
  13. Yeah, that fine with me but would need to be after 6 when i get home from work.
  14. A '👋" text and then block them all 🙂
  15. Cool. Let me know when you want to come and try it out.
  16. Sorry no. I went over to using a controller last year, hence me not needing the Roland anymore, but have since gone back to my MODX7+, which has more keys. I have no need of any more keyboards.
  17. Thanks. As I play with a pick I find the latency more noticeable because of the click. It really isn't an issue, and when playing along to music it's not noticeable at all, but felt I wanted to try something in the next price bracket up, and also id prefer 5.8ghz. Doesn't seem to be much around in that band at sub £100. Im only going to use them for rehearsals and never live, but I would take them as a bak up.
  18. Sorry no. If it was just the keyboard I would, but the expansions cost me £450 on top and I feel th asking price is still very good value.
  19. I got a set of Lekato MS-02’s yesterday. They seem to sound ok but latency is just noticeable. Manual says 10.5ms in stereo. Im using wireless system for bass as well so i guess its going to be effected. Its not unusable, and barley noticable, but its there. I tried with my usual system and that was better. It’s just too much to take out just for rehearsals. So, ive ordered a set of the Nux B-7PSM’s off amazon, which is stating 5ms. Just wondered if they are the same as Lekato and only listing the mono latency, so it doubles when run in stereo. Any ideas?
  20. Yes. Ive had a few very low ball offers but sticking to a realistic price.
  21. Best place to put it IMO is in a cupboard somewhere and get on with life 😂
  22. Here comes the pedal board section of the thread 🤣
  23. I used mine when i was in a band that did a lot of Motown/60’s stuff. It didn’t change the tone as much as it made the bass a bit more vintage like. I should add I’ve also used the BDDI and VTBass DI to do the same thing. There are many options in all price brackets. Even the joyo stuff has cheap options.
  24. I was going to (and BDDI), but i think those things change the sound more rather than just adding warmth. I guess it depends on why the OP is looking for. A warm sound, or a warmer version of his sound. Sansamp stuff certaily does the first, and ive used one for about 20+ years, but its not the same to my ears as warming up whats already there.
  25. And another vote for the TCE Spark Booster. I find its very transparent so doesnt change the tone too much, just adds a bit more depth.
