  1. I’ve read what people here have written who know far more than me and I agree. Only if it’s cheap … would be my view, and the neck and frets look like trouble brewing
  2. It’s okay for the serial to be stamped on the neck plate for some early years. IIRC it was them moved to a decal on the headstock. There are experts on here who could tell you when approximately, like@Hellzero amongst others equally this may be a bitsa where someone didn’t do their homework my guess is that it’s a good fake with a few original parts - probably white originally also. Doesn’t mean it’s a bad instrument though
  3. Maybe the previous owner was a guitarist? You’d need to have it hosed down if so as they can carry mites and ticks, especially if they haven’t been kept in captivity and given vetenary care
  4. There was a time when they didn’t know the neck varnish attacked decals, and there was a time when the decal sat on top of varnish with no coating, conceivably the damage could be attributable to those causes, however there should also be a fair bit more decal there
  5. That neck stamp is very black and clear I may be wrong but the plate bevel looks like a later one
  6. Nice one Centurion!
  7. Waiting on those pics …
  8. Mine only goes as far as September this year and all of that already happened, plus The Donald has become a Buddhist and renounced all worldly possessions
  9. brave decision …. Just counting down to the sellers remorse thread …. 🙂
  10. Agree- they were up for it and climbing up to get to the stage, whereas the lady captain was taken by surprise and didn’t look exactly willing plus unhappy after. He probably spoiled a fine moment for her
  11. How did you get the LED setup done?
  12. This … if you lose your place reduce volume until you find it again
  13. Nice 👍
  14. And if she came home with a £20k handbag ? There are limits
  15. That kind of depends upon what kind of wife-related outcome you’d like when factored against the siren call of GAS if she’s a keeper you need to steer clear of wood-based purchases that are excessive in value
  16. Totally I played zombie recently at an OM and had to throw in a 6 quarter note bar as I’d overstayed on the previous chord. Still finished on time with a sustained open E to the pleasant surprise of the two acoustic guitards, one of whom shouted me to the crowd and the other fist bumped me. Personally I think the only bit that went right was that last note and that only by chance. Crowd went nuts which was a pleasant surprise theyre used to playing acoustic unsupported so they obviously have ridiculously low standards
  17. Yes totally. I think im Right in saying that his jazz bass that day is the same one as the New years Day video
  18. He always does that, they are used to it. I thought it was a masterpiece of showmanship. The riff does vary a bit.
  19. She can always get another husband with cheaper hobbies
  20. The real 63 was breathed on by Leo and touched by genuine American pixies and also was made of magic wood ✨ the later bass was made after leo left the building and is therefore not made of magic wood It will therefore sound rubbish by comparison 🗑️
  21. No drummer, it’s an om. Backing acoustic guitards, yes even on sanctuary (his version is quite gentle) so I should really resist the urge to smack the ampeg svt patch to 11
  22. Sweet home Alabama, dreams (fleet wood Mac version), Dakota, sanctuary it's only open mic night version, fortunately and fairly basic compared to you lot. Sadly available time for practice means only fairly simple songs
