5.
Begs the question, why would you want to impersonate Meat Loaf in the first place ? Also Meat Loaf should maybe feel honoured that someone does . Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery.
Surely that would depend on whether he feels both imitated AND flattered ?
6. It's his choice to say OK or to request "cease and desist", it's his image that's being aped
7.
If I could get some black chrome knobs they would probably go on there!
Shiny ones, like the bridge
8. Nice ! Only thing I'm not wild about is the knobs - they'd look better in chrome in my humble opinion but very lovely indeed
9. Thanks I hope their cocks fall off due to leprosy, scumbags. They also stole my two work laptops but the last laugh is on them as they are a) old b} ultra encrypted
10. Or spot it on eBay - Stolen from my car in sutton in Ashfield last night Black b2a with drop d tuner, long rectangular soft gig bag, no marks or damage If you see one in a local crack converters, or get offered one cheap please let me know ?
11. I had the otherwise identical trans red magna 5string and it was great. Struggled a little with the neck width
12. I've had one of these in this colour and it was awesome
13.
I doubt many people still use a Zoom B2 in live situations but i do. I use it for the Acoustic 360 sound which gives a good middy but mild overdrive. In my band which is a 3 piece it seems to help the bass cut through.
I do - on ampeg setting - with a precision it makes those church folks look up from their sherry
14. Battered sunburst p (bass doc) with Warwick reds; cheap but good sounding and they last for ages
15. No, he is saying take your time and absorb it, using breaks as thinktime. If you cram too hard you risk kicking yourself too hard if you make a single mistake We are saying mistakes go with the territory and few people notice so don't sweat it
16. Why would anyone do this to themselves ? 😛
17. I played Folsom prison blues recently live and they went nuts.
18.
Exactly this!
It was just a chance "parts or not working, needs a clean" listing off eBay with really bad photos. It totally blew me away to the extent that I had the bass doc make me one
19. Wow - nice relic job, VERY professional work - was it expensive ? *kidding*
20. Yes precisions; a squier VM totally turned my head to their total awesomeness
21. Best advice I have is that if you lose your place, stop playing till you know where you can come in again. If you try and guess it will sound terrible and you'll have to say youre on a jazz odyssey
22. Nice, I'd never considered one before
23. I'm in a similar boat, first time was terrifying and I did crash and burn, making it harder to try again. But that next time I totally smashed it and the crowd went nuts. They had never heard a precision bass on "loud". Now my big fear is cocking it up and not being able to hide it, which is a different fear entirely and an easier one to deal with
