  1. Be aware that aftermarket plates don’t generally fit affinity basses well, the neck shape and pup position is slightly different. It’s do-able but be prepared to break out the dremel

  6. You don’t have to spend that much. Try a squier “classic vibe” or “vintage modified” Precision. Also Vintage V4 cheap to try out and you can sell it for same £££ if you don’t like it btw your English is fine - stop apologising
  7. I think by “changes for bass” you perhaps mean “trades” ?

  10. You can get a drill mandrel from amazon that lets you drill totally straight - avoidIng the bench drill. Also a drill stand that takes your current drill works.

  12. I’ve never had that many cramps

  14. You feel walnuts ? It’s important to check yourself regularly
  15. No, they look 60s to me. @AndyTravis would probably know just by looking but as I recall 70s spacing is midway between vol2 and tone and that body isn’t built like that
  16. No, because he is a pr1ck
  17. I think actually Michael sings “... up the stairs....I’m pushing out punchlines that were never there”. I don’t have the stomach to listen to rem so I shall consult my friend who is a walking REM wiki. He was once in an induced coma and I joked that I could get him out of it by saying something negative about “Automatic for the people”
  18. I can honestly say I have never listened to Yes
  19. Maybe a delivery drone (the flying kind, not a Hermes person) could dangle it ? a strand of creeper perhaps
  20. The dinosaurs are just living in the past .... cue Tull
  21. He’s playing it with no audience, in his 70s. Give the man a break. He sounds way better than McCartney does these days
  22. At about 2:15, then he heads off behind the sofa
  23. Sure but is that country? Or is it western ? We have both kinds ... cf blues brothers in case anyone thinks it sounds familiar or (wrongly) that I’m being either clever or knowledgable 😏
