  1. I will speak to the management team
  2. Shipping cost ? To le67, not the moon
  3. No I understood you, just wasn’t sure if had never had a guard, or that the original was differently shaped
  4. @Bassassin totally. If you want one for its look, or to perfect your settings they are great for that, but it isn’t going to change the sound by much at all when measured objectively.
  5. So exactly the same shape, I guess “no extra holes” should have been my question
  6. Did it have a pic guard originally?
  7. Depends on how long a bar lasts, but is something of an edge case not really justifying the outlay and effort of the hardware change Imho
  8. Maybe a high mass bridge makes a small difference to sustained notes in excess of a bar, but who the f uck ever does that ? And would the audience even notice that 4 milliseconds longer? snake oil.com they’re maybe easier to adjust but that’s pretty much where it ends IMHO
  9. You must be a bass player; you’re talking sense 🤔
  10. I put one on a cij jazz from OldGit (late) - no difference whatsoever
  11. The difference between patina and relic is a slim one
  12. Are you out on day-release ? You and @edstraker123 must be mad not to like a bit of patina.
  13. One strip under the wire, onto body, then the wire splayed out, then a second copper tape strip to keep it in place should you remove the bridge
  14. I always use sticky copper tape to hold the bridge wire in place
  15. Body looks wrong too. No patina and doesnt fit the plate. Too much wood around the edges.
  16. How the f*** did I not spot that ? Dead giveaway to an AliExpress neck 21 frets with no dot on 21, bet it’s an overhang
  17. It has neck adjustment at the headstock … 99% certain that’s only ever been a jazz thing
  18. Might be a fender body with some other neck
  19. I think my point was that the basses that I named aren’t really mediocre. They’re solid choices for many people and you can cover a wide range of sounds with three if you spend £1500 on one instrument you may not have enough for a decent spare and it may be a one-trick pony whatever desirable wood is holding the pickups near the strings
  20. The lady who runs my local one gets £200 each night and tries to do one or two every week plus private engagements as a singer/songwriter
  21. Wow “rocking horse collision” I’m the only bass player in this village where I go
  22. If that had blocks I’d be all over that like it was free chocolate 🍫
  23. I’m quite tempted but don’t have the cash for a couple of weeks. Also Kent is comfortably far away from Winterfell
