  1. God knows why i let it go!!! moment of madness glad it happened, taught me a lesson. Just so pleased to have it back and it came back with Elixir strings on it and they sound amazing!!!
  2. any make of bass can be bad, as well as good!!!! bad basses by design for me would be the likes of thunderbird and other gibson basses, it is all down to your own taste. a lot of guys hate Rickenbacker's i love them. i think it is what you are used to. you know as soon as you pick a bass up if it is right for you. enjoy !!!
  3. just prefer the 4003 iain, no more changes had enough stress!!!! love this bass just sounds so good.

Hi Mart, got to say i adjusted the truss rods again last night , beginning to feel tight as i adjust them now, the neck is flat as can be and it made a huge difference to sound, i am happy with it now it is beginning to feel part of me, another thing about this bass it records really well!!! getting that ric clank in the sound and a certain growl is sneaking into the sound, i think it is a bass you have to spend time with to get it feeling and sounding right!! i think i am enjoying the bass now, it just takes time, i love the neck, feels great and huge tone from such a light bass , and no noise is good too, lets face it there are not too many in the uk so glad to have one at a great price. cheers
