    Hi Mate, i have a new japanese special run limited edition , aged candy apple red 1975 jazz bass with pj config, alder body, maple neck with rosewood fret board mop inlays and white binding, it is a fantastic sounding looking bass i have the same trouble as your good self it just dont fit right somehow !!! big fat tone with the pj pups made to perfection these basses outclass the american basses. i also purchased a fender tweed case for the bass . its barely 2 weeks old. would be happy to do an exchange with you if you were interested. cheers George my feedback [url="http://basschat.co.uk/topic/164771-geofio-feedback/"]http://basschat.co.uk/topic/164771-geofio-feedback/[/url]

    nice i got the 75 pj re issue and the neck is wonderful on that bass.beats any of the american basses around at the moment. sheer class. and i am a £1000 poorer too but well worth the dosh.

    Hi Ash, it is very light it is around the 7 pounds mark i dont have scales , it is one of the lightest basses i have had, after my jazz or ric its nothing , Geo

    Here is my new axe Fender limited edition 75 jazz with pj config. picked this up from a store in glasgow, plays and sounds fantastic after a few basic tweaks. solid build and finish is just awesome, top notch work on this bass, i cannot find any flaws!!! and the jap electronics just ooze quality sound. one of 78 made. check the fret work and binding out never seen workmanship like that before !!!     Dan Thomas at GAK, was very helpful when i purchased quite a few expensive items and they arrived damaged, he went out his way to see i got some good deals and made sure my orders were double boxed from now on as i am a jinx lol. I mainly buy between GAK and Sounds Live. Both do great deals if you spend a few quid.
